How’s it looking? Would love to see an update!
How are your manzanita doing? I have one of similar size I've been growing for about 4 years and doing well. I love manzanita. Nice color and shape. Thanks for the video.
They're doing well so far.
How is the Coast Redwood different from the Dawn Redwood?? Is this one as finicky as the Dawn? Meaning about all the pruning being particular about when it should be done? This is a very nice tree!
Why take it out of the larger pot? Guessing you don't want it to grow very well.
I guess you've never heard of bonsai lol
I like those shears that you used to cut the die back, what kind are they please? Maybe available on Amazon? Thank you!
Bellissima
You’re adding a lot of inverse taper to your fella
Will I be able to hide the blunt cut at the top of my willow in the future ?
Are u planting it into stone?
Hello may I ask what do you do when your jade plant leaves are flat
En que tiempo se podan
Se pueden ser podados en verano o cuando sea cálido y seco.
Love your content. Keep it up! Audio may be slightly improved. Perhaps a better mic.
Not a live oak
Lol my brother picked the acorn himself. It's a coast live oak.
This is definitely a coastal live oak. I work in the tree service industry so I would know lol
I wonder how old that plant is. Awesome tree.
Im trying to find out if i can start a pepper tree from the lil seeds.... A freind sent me a bag of them
I started this one from seed.
Can you tell me the name of the white stones you put in the pot ? Thank you ;-)
The moss is sooooo 😎
Can’t wait for part 129
Hi I’m confuse is that mini rocks or soil you put and what type of soil is that
kitty litter
I just seen another video where the maker put the cuttings in water and they grew roots quite fast, im researching buying one of these Coastal red woods I’ve got the other one that grows like the General Sherman but they are mega expensive to buy in 🇬🇧 UK 10 times more expensive
Awesome Job Chris, she's beautiful👌
can you do a follow up video please?
how does the lavender bonsai look like now?
could you have saved the top and made another tree?
I don't know if air layering works on this species. I've never tried it. Since these trees are widely available and cheap to buy, I don't know that it's worth it anyway.
I sprouted a tecate cypress from a grow kit. Does it grow fast?
Could you have used thinner wire for those branches and is there a reason why you didn't want any paste for your cuts?
Excellent video Chris and nice work on this redwood.
Another really cool video ! ❤
Let Bart help!!!😮
Great video! ❤
Hot pepper bonsai? How long do they live? Ive grown then a couple years max.
I was waiting for the before-after 😑
Here's the before: ruclips.net/video/GYL_QpXQYMw/видео.html
That's a jade plant. Portalacua is a moss rose??
Portulacaria afra is the scientific name for this specific species of jade plants.
Great video…such sweet gifts
Poor little tree
Great work, l must say l love Mame 😊
I love em too. Such a beautiful species
Why did you do a full repot in December instead of waiting till spring? What protection did you give it over the winter?
I live USDA zone 10b so I don't need to protect my trees much in the winter. But that's a good point to remember when repotting.
Great work, thank you
Long videos is the way the go. People can fast forward if people think it’s too long!
Great work! Love it 😊
Looking good Chris and I think it really suits the colour of that pot. Great choice!
Amazing looking bonsai. Great work
Thanks for the vid, I too have kept my Christmas tree alive for some time. Don’t know if I would call it a bonsai, but we’ll see. Just some constructive criticism: a shorter video may garner more attention from those interested in doing this with their Christmas tree. Good luck, God bless.
What does the wood look like cut
I’m really curious where you can find coastal redwood saplings to buy around California. Can you share where you found this beauty?
I normally buy my native trees from a local native plant nursery, but I happened to find this one at Lowe's in the garden center surprisingly.
So 8 months later ... ????
The large one has died. The clump of smaller ones is still alive but still dormant since the repotting.
@@samsbrosbonsaiwhy did the large one die? I keep reading reviews of cutting for weeping willow on Amazon. And I’m starting to go crazy like are the ppl killing them or is the product bad 😂
Ya those peppers trees are very hearty.
Great job Sam! 😂
Great video Sam and I'm sure this little Pepper will like its new home 😊
I have a bunch of the same cuttings in 3 gallon bags outside and this summer they all grew huge. I'm trying to bonsai one to see how it goes but not sure what to do for Michigan winter yet. I'll just have to experiment and watch videos! Lol
