Ford 5000 7.8 6-Cylinder Turbo Diesel Swap (PART 2)
Continuing work on the Ford 5000 7.8 diesel engine swap. In the last video (PART 1), we installed the engine in the tractor. In this video, we get the tractor on its wheels again. We install a rear engine mount, frame rails, custom front axle flip, and also add a nice power steering conversion kit. We also rebuild the factory power steering box and replace the parts to make it a manual steering box. At video end, tractor is finally sitting on its wheels again, after many months.

This is my 1970 Chevy c10. Installing a rare trans. A833 aka MY6 aka NP440. It's an aluminum case 4 speed with the 4th gear being an overdrive. These came factory with a Hurst shifter. 1992 John Deere f932 mower recently broke down. A heavily worn pulley was to blame. In this video I bore the center out of the old pulley, turn a sleeve on the Grizzly G0776 Gunsmithing lathe, press the sleeve into the pulley, and finish machining.
