    He's great at frame control and explaining concepts like cathedral while simultaneously staying in Hegelian white hats vs dark hat covid campville (for example). Content strategy he discusses is exactly what was magicly ready to go during covid so that if you were into bioterror lab leak narrative, they got you gatekept there, or (as accelerated) fooled into believing mRNA in its then current form was mark of the beast the content was ready for you to be kept where they wanted you. The reaction desired weaponized against you to bring what you most feared to life by your own hand. Curtis is not an atheist. Like Mike Adam's. Cathedral is prime example. The new world order will be a repackaged old world order managed and automated by tech. And it was done during the reformation! Schmalkaldic League 2.0 will fail this time because of transhumanism. Theil acknowledged this himself in the Hoover Institute interview on the Apocalypse. If you don't think these guys are studying Biblical prophecy then you're fooled by the futurist facad. Theil even acknowledged that transhum tech was ai.ed at finding another path to immortality than through Jesus Christ.

    Factor in China overcount of 200-250 million people (under 40 and majority women,) Didn't know Nigeria had been overcounting (for a similar reason to China) but those 2 countries will mean huge changes in modelling once updated with ACTUAL people!! UN need to make a model with lower fertility rates that continue to fall as well as checking the current global population We will definitely not reach 9 billion that's for sure!!

    Rudyard has this amazing ability to rattle off historic fact after fact the same way independent journalists Whitney Webb can rattle off the names and players in the elite think tanks around the world. Ah to be young again. Rudyard is only 23! I don’t necessarily buy into societies views that everyone young is dumb and ignorant until they grow older and wiser. It has to do with being passionate about something. By the time I was Rudyard’s age I had taught myself how to proficiently play 15 different musical instruments and how to produce music tracks where I would record each instrument by myself separately, combining them to sound like a whole entire group was playing. How I was able to do this at that young age was because of my passion for it. Now at double the age of Rudyard, can I still pull off the music thing? Sure can, just not as prolific. Clearly Rudyard is very passionate about history and anthropology.

    Samo Burja either doesn't understand metaphysics or doesn't believe in it at all. To compare Ukraine and Israel is beyond asinine. First of all, Israel is not in an existential struggle. Simply being in the middle East doesn't make your struggle existential and I'm tired of Zionists using this as an excuse for Israel to routinely violate international law in their blood fued with Arab nations and Palestinians. They lost what? a 1,000 people in a terrorist attack and proceeded to bomb the shit out of 44,000 civilians, 80%+ of which were women and children because the adults voted for terrorists... How is that in any way shape or from comparable to Ukraine being invaded and bombed for what's going on 4 years straight? 2. The Israeli fertility rate isn't even necessarily national, Jews have higher fertility rates all across their diaspora. And the Israeli fertility rate has been high since forever, or did you conveniently forget that Hitler killed a 3rd of their population in one lifetime? Their fertility rate is attributed to the historical memory of being nearly wiped out, not a terrorist attack you refer to as an existential threat. Ukraine on the other hand, is being invaded by people who are almost ethnically indistinguishable from their own population, so why in the realm of logic would it spur on a fertility boom? don't those come AFTER the conflict, not during it?

    Public Service Announcement time, folks: *Do NOT trust Steve when it comes to sociology* -- he's just a know-nothing crank who regurgitates fashionable BS...and I don't mean Bachelor of Science KEK Anyone who knows anything about feminism, whether you agree or disagree with it, knows that not only does Professor Hsu caricaturize the subject but he gets basic material wrong; imagine someone mixing up Chinese with Japanese with Vietnamese (okay I'll leave the Koreans out of this LOL).... And just a quick word about his tech enthusiasm: Once you understand what a human being actually is you will understand how AGI is impossible (you can probably create "test-tube humans" eventually but that's still a human as opposed to human-like AGI)...it's like working to give the number seven itself physical form and even sexual genitals to boot -- a categorical error through and through!! But no doubt work such as his is important and will lead to advances...it just won't lead to a Star Trek future of AGI. But definitely watch out for his extremely counter-factual sociological and political takes (he seems to ve on a roll with that the more guest appearances he makes)!! He should stick to science and entrepreneurship instead of cosplaying a scholar of history and society....

    • @davidchou1675
      @davidchou1675 7 дней назад

      So Steve is correct about many things -- China, academic standards, and so forth...I don't mean to throw out the proverbial baby with the bathwater; it just rankles me that he so often makes such basic mistakes in areas of which he obviously has no understanding -- that, speaking of academic standards, he hasn't done the work, as it were, and he should know better as a scholar!

    • @davidchou1675
      @davidchou1675 7 дней назад

      I should also note that very strictly speaking nothing is impossible including AGI -- and, for that matter, faster-than-light travel, including time travel...once we understand what's really going on here! But that's philosophy (though the Integrated Information Theory folks can be thought of as making kind of a technical [mathematical] start of such things) and shall remain so for maybe another century....

  • @peternguyen2022

    Samo, your initial remark about how thinking of AI will force people to re-examine their worldview (and beliefs, assumptions, definitions, etc.) is on point. Unless people explicitly articulate and clarify how they see and define terms like intelligence, value, work, the good life, etc. they won't be able to FULLY understand the nature and impact of AI. Take a deceptively simple concept like "work." Consciously or unconsciously, most people think of it as "showing up at one place five days a week and doing what the boss requires." But if we re-define it as input + processing algorithm = output = $$$ (paycheck), then it would be clear that AI or even software programs can EASILY replace human workers. That's because most jobs are really just routines or procedures or algorithms. Any software engineer with computational thinking skills, can extract the key processes of a person's job and create a software program (ideally including LLMs) that replaces most tasks in that job.

    I agree with your analysis of the lack of scientists in AI research, as a result of an email I recently sent out to others while also publishing it in the comment section of Podcast's I watch, as there was either no response to it or a request not to publish yet. It really suggested that I was communicating with programmers, grifters, mathematicians or all three of the previous types of individuals, but no scientists. Anyway, I have placed the email I sent and published below, which I make reference to, so you can have a look at it too, in conclusion I just want to repeat that I am in full agreement with your very interesting analysis. Well done, keep up the good work. "Hi, I am looking for advice on what I should do next. I have a PhD in Neuro -Cognitive Psychology, a MSc(Dist) in Psychological Research Methods and a BSc(Hons) in Psychology too. I am also Dyslexic so please bear with me on my grammatical errors. I have been independently working on a new architecture for AI, based on mirroring Cognitive-Neuro structures we understand today, I believe I have finally completed it. If I am correct it will massively reduce the need for compute power, ref: - AI’s computing gap, 2024, Nature, Helena Kudiabor, and assist in the process of AI gaining consciousness as we know it? The Architecture is a language based, multi layered, parallel processor that uses inhibitory and activation connectivity, as the main means of achieving goal based action of the AI and reduces the need for weight changes between "Computational Units" to achieve the goal? Ok, please advise, should I publish as concerned if I am correct this will create a paradigm change in AI development which may create consciousness in AI and may be easily applied to many systems immediately? Obviously if I am a narcissistic, deluded, individual there will be no change, what should I do? Should I see if I am a narcissistic, deluded, individual, or a narcissistic genius who gives AI consciousness, any advice gratefully received even if impolite?"
