60 kills in bandit raid are enough for max xp. you need 170 kills in expedition. expedition is match better for xp graind as siege, if you looking for "XP per Minute". AND PEOPLE PLZ: If you have enough kills, let the other players get some too.

I've been playing the game for around 40h and my beloved imperial archers have been shreding every flank like it's cheese

I needed this!!! My computer went out on me and I left the game for about a year. Finally built a PC and just now getting back. And I never noticed but my old pc ran the game at 60fps and now I’m getting over 100, it’s like a completely different game. So glad to be back!

It actually does suck. the fact that the devs are supplying runes that would be otherwise completely cracked on any other weapon just to make us ok at some situational locations when we can consistently fire down on the heads of enemy heroes. Run is the answer to every even matchup and since the rework on rolling escape short bow doesn't even do that well. no good slow no good mobility, pitiful damage, and cc that fails more than half the time because everybody gets stun immunity now. sure bola is a thing if we don't mind sending the enemy hitbox to the shadow realm making follow-up very difficult, not that we would hurt them anyway. The shortbow range is down to less than 70 percent of what it used to be and getting outranged by blue muskets feels really good. the only damage source consistently available is the bleed mechanic locked behind Epic Gear. But don't worry that's nonlethal damage because it scales with current health so securing kills is not easy. combine that with the rune that makes anyone immune to it for 10 seconds and you had best prepare to get bent over in every matchup. At least we can fight Longbow until they run and we have no way to catch them. I can't even comprehend the projectile speed of a short bow as it lobs its arrows at the average walking speed of an elderly person, a little side effect of the range reduction that never got patched out. It used to be a valid kiting weapon but now it is the slowest thing on the field and the attack animation has enough frames to be considered a feature presentation. While all the other weapons got QOL patches to compensate for the new over-tuned weapons, the short bow has just sat in a corner awaiting kicks from the devs.

The Sipahis at E is absolutely wild. The rest of your list I mostly agree with

Is CB worth playing now? We played it with my brother and over about year of playing we spent about 1800 hours but we quit due to basically the constant grind or payment system, where no matter what units you max out, there is new unit forcing you to grind every seasson or feel so far bahind having to pay to catch up (espeically now with how many seassons are there). We ended up quiting around seasson 10 (we didnt play 11) and playing since seasson 4 where jannisaries got introduced. Main reason the op heroes being either immortal with mobility, cc, annoying like the spear etc. but mainly just the feeling if you dont have the current op unit, you just dont enjoy the game as much. Trebs not helping and I suppose over 10 seassons most people quit right? There is no other game like this but at the same time, there is so many units that its not helping new players I imagine so I doubt there can be many new people playing the game? I just feel nostalgic but I probably know its not worth it to start suffering again just for that. Just wanna know how the community and servers are like and how many of the s10-20 units are "must have" since I have most of the older units and loved using janissaries and imparial arquebusiers, flamers as well as reapers and berserkers. Played Glaive/polearm since seasson 4.

Actually you can buy discount coupons for silver and get between 10% and 20%, maybe even 30% off the unit medal packs. It actually allows you to get the 14.6k unit medal pack for less than 12k sovereigns, so less than 100 bucks. And it has like 400 unit medals more plus more super unit exp cards you can use for bandit raids, so more exp.

It really is… I play a LS rank with full armor build and they eat me up.. Let’s be honest, this makes it OP as they nerf the LS…

I have done some testing regarding EXP gain in bandit raids. It does not matter how many kills you make, as long as you are somehow participating in it. Assuming you have all EXP buffs active for you 200k EXP 10 kills - 30k EXP (C+ ranking) 36kills and capping supply - 219k (C+ ranking 300kills(mvp) - 220k (S ranking)

what is a good warband to use?

As someones who like muskets in other games and am now trying this. What would you recommend for abilities to level and use for musket?

Honestly insane how even levelling up units in this game is cash-grab. Lets say you get 200k unit xp on average in bandit raids (even 200k is an exaggeration), thats 1M XP PER WEEK, which means approximately 3 levels. If you're trying to max a Yellow Unit, thats approximately 10 WEEKS just to level up your unit.

I tried this and not a single unit leveled up

bro PLAY ON BETTER FOV ON MELEE WEAPONS btw I see a lot of shit you have to improve in the game, even the fcking phalanx vet line, bottom is better its like veteran but bad player making a guide for new players and you forgot about: blue halberdiers, halberdier seargants/fortes are better anticav than camels because they kill, not just stop, palace guards in meta as counter to phalanx and wuwei, shieldmaidens are garbage, they die from heroes with maul/poleaxe really fast, they dont have CC immunity and they get destroyed by all the meta, even modaos that are really bad anti infantry, the only role of shieldmaidens now is buffing, yanyuedao nerf isnt gonna come they are completely balanced now, are you staying in season 16 or what?, reapers also current meta, yeomen after mastery current meta, fusiliers like men at arms stay in meta after their mastery my recommendations for every new player are wuwei, yeomen/hussars (xuanjia and companions are really not beginner friendly), halberds (both blue and purple), rattan marksmen and men at arms for everyone who recommends modao: nah, phalanx or halberdier seargents, they also counter YYD, Companions and XHC and they are way better anti intantry + they are cheaper i leadership and new players really rarely have a lot of leadership doctrines or 780 lds

Interesting build. Reminds me of when i first started playing and didnt use an escape because i figured my placement was enough to keep me safe (which it seems it can in most cases). Went to an escape and been bitter about the helheim szn nerfs to the cd from 5 to 7s. Even with the changes to shields units and armor reforging, this build seems to hold up. Definitely gonna try it out sometime.

how much his camera is close to the character... this is clearly a beginner, and ulta uses an unpopular one (I don't even know why, because it's so-so to put it mildly) I mean, people kill on this cavalry, if not bots, then beginners and for people who have more than 1000 levels, this may not be relevant.

I think stunning shot is better than bola because it doesn't dismount players, that way there's higher chance to permanently dismount enemy players by eliminating their horses for the match Shortbow basic attack does basically the same as a max draw Longbow normal attack

I cant get over the fact, that when imp pikes and sunward phalanx advance at each other, the phalanx stands no chance... just a borderline trash unit even tho its my most favorite unit in the game. the cant turn around and fight against enemies in the back (even tho every other pike unit can) they loose so hard even against the front and their clunkiness just makes them unplayable... 0/10 from booming tech for such a wasted opportunits

they need a lil buff, but for 100 leadership they are kinda good. they can clear artillery too on maps that that is hard to do.
