Definitely give it a try with the piercing build and the level 50 rune. I been going high str (enough to get 1950 pen) and rest agility. Poison/Steel/Bola/Artemis for skills (the damage buff does great for Artemis). Swiftness/Stymphalian on Bow, Heroic Journey on Boots. Damage runes on rest.
@@killer_luck Pretty decent. I usually end up with 10-15 hero kills in a siege. Doing around 250,000-350,000 damage to heroes and 450,000-600,000 to units (actually melts units, just still single target). Whenever longsword/shields chase me, usually have no problem taking them out. Think they are surprised how hard the pierce short bow hits them now.
@@dragotYou were right, it's actually pretty nuts, I might try going even higher penetration for IR's and heavy armor lovers. I think it's more insane for the unit damage actually, it reminds me of how playing longbow used to feel in terms of taking out enemy units Think I'm gonna make another video on this, people definitely sleeping on this build
