You should probably look at reference images of REAL LIFE stuff first before you try to go about turning it into stylized art. It's never a good idea to look at how someone else interpreted it and go off their art first.

Lore: Once upon a time lived Bloopo (the barrel roller). Bloopo lived in a small hut with his brother, Munchee in the village of Woodow. They were very poor, but they still managed to live their lives to the fullest and always relied on each other. One day, Bloopo was at the local shop and realized he was out of money, and neither him nor Munchee had a job to get any more food. Bloopo ran back to the hut to tell his brother Munchee, and they were both stressed out and panicking on what to do. It was at that moment Bloopo remembered about the magic shrine in Woodow. This was no ordinary shrine, as it could only be used in a time of severe need or distress to give the asker what they needed. Bloopo told this to Munchee, but Munchee was unsure. The shrine was known for bad things happening to those who asked of it, but the shrine was their only chance. Bloopo and Munchee decided to go on a journey to the mountain where the shrine was built. Once they were finally there, they asked of the shrine, and the shrine seemed to talk to them. (shrine speaking) "I will give you food, to lighten the mood, but in return you must do something for me. You will be cursed to do my bidding." Bloopo replied: "What would we have to do?" shrine: "That I cannot say, but you are sure to know one day, only one will be cursed, but the other will live." Bloopo thought for a moment and said, "Curse me!, and give my brother food, so he may live!" Shrine: "So it shall be!" and in an instant Bloopo was put on a Barrel and forced to go down the mountain for all of eternity collecting coins for the shrine. Muchee decided he would help his brother, as he collected the coins so that he could give them to the shrine until the debt was paid. Muchee had plenty of food to eat and was never hungry again thanks to Bloopo's sacrifice.

I think the concept art look really cool and maybe it could be added as a collectable that you find on the map, sort of like in donkey kong country tropical freeze Game looks super cool! I'm also currently playing totk haha
