It's a fairly common situation on the Dyna Low Rider S and Street Bob models to want to do something about the setup of the rear fender - either because you want to run bags, or just want to get rid of that goofy plate mount, or just because! In this video we go through one of the solutions to move all that junk out of the way and clean up the tail section of the bike. While we're at it, we'll ...

Btw digging the fast eddy race remover 😏
Part 2 already! Nice! A couple of years ago I installed a set of kraus riser on my buddy’s 04 road king classic. The bars look a little out of place, because the bike needs more updates in order to tie in to t-bar set up and have a good flow esthetically. Sounds like all the upgrades you are doing are going to flow nicely. Im putting my boy on to this build you’re doing for inspiration. Keep up the great work brother💪🏽
This bike is going to look🔥 with your touch. The short fender looks nice on the bike, but I agree that with the bags the look is a little off. Maybe a chopped fender with the chopped bags to match?? Or if you want to use the stock bags maybe a fender that flows better with them.. anyway I’m sure you will dial it in nicely. Looking forward to the finished product 💪🏽 Kel Méndez

I'm Definitely Diggin it with That Fender & Bags.I Would Fill in Where the Taillight Goes & Do Something Custom for the Rear Lighting. But You are Definitely Headed in the Right Direction!!!!❤😊❤
Personally, I have no business attempting most of the projects you tackle in your videos, but I must say I absolutely love learning about the process. It gives me a whole new appreciation for what my mechanic is doing with my bike, and of course I occasionally find there are a few things that are actually within my comfort zone and capability. Just wanted to say I’m appreciative of the level of detail you put into your content. I’ve learned so much about parts and processes, and have a badass bike because of that! ❤
Is the engine guard stayin or goin? Looks great so far 🤘🏼
I have a 2017 Dyna Low Rider S with the OE conventional 49mm forks. Are mine considered two over? And in what year did the HD Dyna go to a +2 over? Thx!
Dyna front ends are about 2" more than a bagger yes, but yours are stock height for a dyna.
🤙
What’s the spacer for ??? by the shifter
Waiting for someone to do the Klockwerks fairing on a bagger so hopefully that’s your plan!
Keep em coming excited about this build.
My intrusive thoughts are telling me that I can do everything you’re doing but I know for a fact I’ll end up with more bolts than I would like to at the end of the build 💀
Lee Scott Clark Amy Young Kimberly
Spittin fire 🔥 💥
I thought u had a pet mouse but I figured out it’s the auto focus on the cam 😂. Bikes looking great 👍🏼
Robinson Sharon Harris Carol Moore Deborah
How did you guys eliminate the cable Speedo? What did you use as a pickup for the digital Speedo?
I think just a regular bagger rear fender would look better then the shorty
Keep the same style fender but make it longer
I love seeing road kings done club style
Hey. I was wanting to get the rear cylinder exhaust out port to the left - this way i can make my custom exhaust Left-right styled like the softtails. Would it be possible if i rotate it with the rear cylinder rebuild?
Enforcer wheels would look good ha I commented 3 seconds before u said inforcer 2
Couldnt see anything
Personally the fender would be a no go for me. I like a fender that is even with the bags. I’d either choose the bags a bit or cut the factory fender to the appropriate length. Either way, not my bike, I do like the direction it’s going so far
Can we get a stock dyno run if it’s not too late? It was rumored that the police bikes got a more aggressive cam.
I like the Fender with the bags. Looks aggressive..
Ive been riding Roadkings since 97. Still have that awesome Evo. My garage is stocked with 5 and my last being a 2019 RK Special. I can appreciate your artistical view with this build but I find my self liking the Special rear end. I'm eager to see what you come up with.
If you’re going to leave the bags on, I would get a fender that ended even with the bags if you’re going to eliminate the bags and I’d stick with that fender.
Chop The Bags, you only need to do a little bit
i would keep the fxr division fender and chop the bags straight
Long live the KING! Can't wait to see the full build.
Longer fender or change the mounting location to bring the fender closer to the tire and horizontal with bottom of the bags.
Keep the fender, ditch the bags. Go full FXR clone. Love me a road king. Most underrated touring bike made.
Keep the short fender, chop the bags
Billet swingarm from Speed Dealer would also look sick on this build!
Go with some of the chopped saddlebags from Nasty Hog!
I'm so excited for this
This is a highly underrated channel and one of the top ones of this genre in my book. Just wanted to let you know
I think a longer fender that’s flush with the bags painted with a cream stripe down the middle will look really good
Love this build. Looking forward to see the end product. 180 Fat Front tire kit and a rear 200 would look outrageous!
No
@@sdpikapp no what?
@@stacysid2 a fat front would be ridiculously terrible
I’d go the standard length fender unless you plan to chop the bags like the stunt guys do. Fxr division one does look cool but just doesn’t fit imo. Of course im sure whichever you go with you will tie into the design in your way to make it look nice. Thanks for the content.
I think the fender needs to come to the bottom of the bags. The curve at top of the fender probably won't be as noticeable once painted, especially if you put a rear seat on it, but I hope it stays a single seater
I like the fender! I want a roadking and now that i know someone makes a nice fender im sold
love it! just picked up a 14 mass state police bike!
I’m thinking that new wheel looks pretty dang good. I’d definitely run it like that. 👍🏻
Kind of like the short fender but, maybe if it was just a few inches longer.
Throw on some dxt saddlemen bags 😊
Just cut the bottom of the original fender off and shorten it to match the bottom of the bags
Love seeing Road Kings get more attention
