You've mentioned rules regarding Permanent card in a few of your videos. Please note the following: "Permanent cards are set aside at the start of step 1 of setup." (Rules Reference v1.6, page 30). This means that hero's Permanent cards are set aside during the "1. Select Identities. Each player selects one identity, placing their alter-ego side face up." setup step. Keep those MC & how-to-play videos coming! (It'd be fun to see you review some of the original Core Set heroes too.)

Question: Of the four most recent campaign expansions, which is best? (SM, MG, NE, AoA) I’ve been picking up hero and scenario packs now and then, and I have many of the older campaign expansions, but since the spidey campaign came out I haven’t gotten any of those. Which is the best if I only get one? I’m looking mostly for unique, replayable villains, and I don’t ever play in campaign mode. I would totally watch a video of yours ranking campaign expansions, villains, or heroes. Big fan of the channel, your grumpiness fills me with joy.

Slowly coming around to Jubilee...didn't like her at first but yeah, understanding more what she wants to do and have in her kit...shes pretty fun! Three Steps Ahead and Waylay are good but they're expensive, and you already want to exhaust Jubilee before she flips to hero...so you miss out on generating a resource....methinks Ready to Rumble would do really well with her

It feels impossible to finish - to not only purchase but to flip 15 tiles in 12 rounds... Or 20 tiles in 15 rounds feels impossible... What am I missing??

Excellent, as always. I was also unsure of jubilee at first, but I have enjoyed her in leadership and making Wolverine my sidekick, I want to try and get Colossus in play too so that I can use fastball special too. One of the few heroes that I don't immediately try with protection.

Cheap status effects are soo good. And her aspect cards are really spicy, too! I'm thinking jubilee has a lot of potential

I was super unimpressed by Jubilee in the previews, but when I actually got her to the table and played her, she reminded me a ton of one of my favorites: Ms Marvel. They both have a huge focus on playing events and "upgrading" them to hit above their weight class.

Alas, Generation X is locked to events. But Clint can go on a Shopping Spree if he’s paired with Jubes!

Lol, I used to resolve ALL effect under the broken shields, regardless if there were any broken shields this round or not. So with the fanged sun, in late game I was working against 3-4 patterns every round, and still managed to win from time to time. But man, that was hard!

5:09 you forget to flip two cards before an encounter. But no one's going to arrest you. 😂

Just so you know all of the Simply Solo line of games from Button Shy is exclusively from designer Scott Almes. There are other solo games from other designers, but that line is strictly for his games. I really do enjoy this game and I play tested it a good amount. It is my most favorite Simply Solo game so far. At 1:50, the rulebook does indeed you you start with the worry under card 1, but you will soon develop your own strategies when it comes to this step, but it is a good tip for those starting out.

Thing I did was to cut the edge of the box so that when you unfold the box, it’s easier to reach the cards that you have to put into the box. And then the box just closes fine because it has a magnet. But I think that should’ve cut that out themselves and not had me do it. I don’t know.
