It’s the way that I didn’t even know I needed this but it’s completely changed me. Started my day watching Ally’s new podcast episode (S4 EP1) and it started me off good knowing that I am to be pure. But God knew that I would most definitely be striving and “performing” for that today, so He provided this video, so now I have a perfect balance of discipline and love. You, Ashley, and Ally have completely changed my lives as of now and I can’t thank y’all enough. Also MEGAN IS SO SMORT 🫨🫨🫨 everything she said hit close to home. Wow.

I was at a job interview and the manager asked “so who are you?” I said a speck of dust. I didn’t get the job. I said it poetically too and was genuine. Like I know I’m nothing without Christ Jesus. I have hobbies but that’s not who I am. I’ve accomplished things but that’s not who I am. I have a purpose but that’s not who Marilyn is. lol

I discovered Megan yesterday (proverbs 31 devotional that was sent to my email...I usually don't care for them, but I related to hers, as she mentioned her "late husband". I thought...OK, this is someone who has experienced real pain...let me see what she says")...I was diagnosed (by accident...I was asymptomatic..still am) with stage 3 pancreatic cancer in February. Not a candidate for surgery. Chemo hasnt shrunk the tumor, but it hasnt spread, so thats a blessing. I have 3 more round of chemo, then 6 weeks of radiation...then a maintenance plan if things are still stable. I'm 42, have a wonderful 16 year old son that i dream of watching grow up and do big things, and have been with the love of my life, and favorite person on earth, for 22 years. I've always been a Christian, have always attended church...but this experience...this trial...has led me closer to God than I ever imagined possible. My husband and I are closer than we've ever been. I've listened to several of Megan's talks since yesterday, and she is so relatable and understandable to me. Thankful that I was led to her! ❤ Finding the "joy" each day is how I get through. It's weird, but I find I'm the happiest I've been in years...until I have an appt for a ct scan or mri. I haven't found a way to keep the intrusive thoughts and anxiety at bay. It passes quickly though. Truly, with the Lord, all things are possible. Lean into Him and let Him love you the way He desires! ❤❤

This is good, really helpful to me and relatable in my case. I just wish he'd end with a prayer over us. it's the best way to conclude God's word and that's what most people need. sometimes ending with a prayer leads the viewer into their own prayer and directs them on how to carry on praying for what they've just watched.
