Tribulation is coming, and we are experiencing tribulation, but not THE tribulation. Not yet anyway. I hope and pray to miss that buy God's grace, by being raptured some short time before the tribulation officially begins. I hope we all are raptured, but we know that wont be so. Many will be left behind. Mourn them now, you wont mourn them later.

All the teachings are wonderful, but this one is especially close to my heart. Thank you, Pastor Dave.

90% of what you say is in line with the teaching of the bible but today very little. Everyone will be judged according to their works, not in this life but the next. "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" Hebrews 9:27 "And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works." Revelations 20:13 "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil." Ecclesiastes 12:14 "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment." Matthew 12:36 "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." 2 Corinthians 5:10 We will all stand before Christ and be judged according to our works. Jesus paid for our sins but this does not resolve ourselves of any personal responsibility. People who teach this don't understand the scriptures. Jesus Christ overcame both sin and death. He offers us this free gift but we have to take advantage of His gift and exercise faith in Him. Only those who repent of their sins will be washed clean and be pure before the Lord. We have to repent daily and demonstrate our faith to God. The bible teaches over and over again that true faith leads to good works. Works don't save us, only Christ can do that, but they do demonstrate our faith to God. Many are deceived and will be left outside of God's kingdom at the judgment.

1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 "And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Luke 9:23 "And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me." Matthew 10:38 We live on this earth under God's rules. We are free to make our own choices in life but we can't escape the consequences. Many people try to live their own life and their "own truth" but they are deceived. Success in this life is measured by God, not by man. This is why the Savior said it was extremely difficult for a rich man to enter into eternal life; because their hearts are set upon their riches instead of the kingdom of God. All of us have to accept our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, exercise faith in Him, and take up our cross and follow Him. Many will be disappointed at the judgement and will be turned away. 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:21-23 Many Christians will be turned away because they haven't done the will of the Father (followed Jesus and kept His commandments). This is why the false doctrine of "no effort" salvation is so dangerous. "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." Matthew 7:14
