How To Know if You're Doing a Kegel Correctly
Learn how to KNOW if you are doing a Kegel CORRECTLY. "Kegel" is an engagement of the pelvic floor muscles and when done regularly can strengthen the pelvic floor and create better neuromuscular connection. It's a confusing group of muscles to engage, so I'll teach you how to know if you're engaging correctly.
P.S. A strong pelvic floor prevents stress incontinence ( peeing in your pants when you sneeze or jump ) and reduces the risk for pelvic organ prolapse.

Thank you for this workout. I just got a Malibu Pilates pro and enjoyed this workout it went at a good slow pace. You have workouts with other chairs, are you planning on doing another workout with this chair.
Here's a tip i push in and out. That way your inside muscles tighten and push out so you're outer muscles tighten too

All of these machines have a split pedal, simply push in and turn the knob at the end of the foot pedal to split or connect
Thanks Valerie!! That's helpful for beginners! There are some chair models (not Malibu) but MVe for example, that have models that don't split pedal (we use to have them in a previous studio I worked at). However, you can follow this video with any chair model so just in case someone doesn't have a split pedal I want them to know they can still participate.

Hi! I've studied fascia from numerous professionals and certification groups. This particular method is adopted from Merrithew (originally STOTT Pilates) they have really excellent workshops on fascia that change every year. I highly recommend!

Ty, I can't tell you how much of a 'Life Saver' your channel and videos are. So I purchased the Malibu PC a clp of weeks ago, finally chalked out the time to get it assembled. When I popped in the Sculpt & Tone DVD that came w/it realized it's not a workout geared toward beginners. I can't send it back because I trashed the thin measly cardboard box it came in with the rest of the packing materials. Then viola one of your videos pops up in my Yt suggestion feed and so far, so good. Your passion, knowledge, and cuing are dead on and I count landing here an 'Answered Prayer' 👍:)

I was given a Malibu style pilates chair and had no idea what I was supposed to do with it! I just watched so many videos before I found this one and this is my favorite. You have a great teaching style and voice. I will definitely use this for my first try with the chair, first time trying pilates for that matter but you make it look fun!

Great class.i am not new to pilates but I just bought the chair pro. Would it be possible for you to create a similar class and add maybe 5To 10 more minutes allowing you to spend more time explaining each transition? Because I had to stop and go back several times with this 17 minutes class (which is totally fine of course, ) anyway thank you so much for an amazing class and workout!
