Paqui One Chip Challenge 2023 Fantasy Last Place Loser
That’s right brother Teamsters life! Local 952 SoCal checking in💯✊
Just got a driver job with ups does the truck have a outlet to charge your phone?
No, get yourself a good power bank!
Does UPS have like a social media policy? Can you get in trouble for these uploads? I been searching UPS stuff on and off for a minute and your videos are really helpful. Those jobs don't appear near me and when they do I can never schedule the drive test.
❤ love it
Becareful posting all this company info without UPS' explicit permission. I've heard of folks getting fired for it :/
I know, I try not to say anything bad about the company but you are right!
The Garbage Can was/is really a salt holder for the winter months.. Back in the day.. Also wow its totally clean on the dash etc. Do you have a wash at your site or do they have a person still to wash.. Ours trucks are filthy .. Last How many stops do you go out with. what time was your lunch looks like you are almost done.. Even the start your package car was considered empty by some standards now.. guys going out with 200 stops 300 packages.. Good for you either way..
Carwash hasn’t worked in years, so I guess the rain washes the dirt off lol. I keep the truck pretty clean! I also do about 80 miles a day and the pick ups start around 3pm . Average around 100 stops and 20 pickups
If you want your truck washed put your truck number on the car wash list .
That’s cool, didn’t know I needed to see this 😂. I have never delivered or worked in that industry but very interesting nonetheless, good run down bro.
lol thanks ?
That truck is so clean man.
Thanks just got it 1 month ago!
@@ivankfermin nice! Enjoy Bro.
Fedex could never
5 years wow
LED headlights but no AC, where they do that at?
Damn you got LED lights, man you up out here
Can you help fedex unionize they are giving their express volume to the contractors…cutting overtime from after 8hr to over 40hr…taking away pension..express keeps getting screwed over they need protections
Damn man I’m sorry to hear that!
I know how that feels but we didn’t have union help at my job when I got fired but I’m happy for you 🫡🫡
Sorry to hear that
Another annoying thing about this job is people's fu@king house numbers, either its to small or they dont have one all together 🤦🏽♂️.
Agree
I sign for sh#t all the time 😂... all that door tag shit is annoying. Plus they over pack the trucks anyway nobody has time to be putting stuff back on the truck. These kinda of jobs are super annoying.
What’s up bro..my question doesn’t relate to this video but I’m currently working at UPS as A warehouse worker and just applied for a seasonal package delivery driver…you think I can be a permanent position if I do well? Or am I just wasting my time?..
Don’t quit . Transfer to full time
Yes if you do well for sure.. It might not be easy just do what you need too and get passed your 30 days. Won't be a waste. It might take time but again hang in there ..
Well UPS does have issues. Here in rural Johnson County Arkansas. Situation one UPS leaves my packages at the wrong house. And I'm talking about it's very rural and the residents are hundreds of feet apart and the roads leading too each residents are well marked with large numbers. Next it's common to stop in a designated parking space at a bank parking lot and return to your car and find a UPS box truck blocking your vehicle. Both of these situations are unacceptable.
Damn dawg you sound brand new
Hahah thanks
and the CEO makes 30 million a year so her salary needs to cut first
She needs to fix the stock price first!
@@ivankfermin she gets paid millions regardless and they still doing billions in buy backs
@@rochester3 yea I know, but as a shareholder to I want the stock to do good also!
@@ivankfermin it should but this economy is so unpredictable, I’m only working 2 days a week for being at the bottom of the drivers list, only working Tuesdays and Saturdays
@@rochester3 they have layoffs everywhere in the company
I've been delivering for Amazon for 4 years now and have been trying to get into UPS and they never have positions posted.
Keep checking I think they are hiring right now
@@ivankfermin They only have seasonal positions posted. What are the chances that leads into a permanent position? I already have a road test scheduled with them, but the earliest date available was the beginning of July.
@@CrazyCubsfan11 there is a chance it can be permanent, all depends how many drivers they need ! Just go in and bust your ass for them, show them they need you
In my local Tuesday- Saturday gets double time if they work a Monday
Damn I would love that, location?
Hi I have a question please I got offer job to drive box truck for ups through centerline company my question is dose driver unload and load truck and the delivery from warehouse to warehouse
To be honest, I have no idea what that is
@@ivankfermin thanks
How? UPS been around for years. Ppl need the service. Keep earning man.
Man, loving it. The DD, UBER, GRUBHUB ETC gig workers do this with no perks.
They do the same job? Is that what you mean? If so, that’s just how uneducated you are.
💯
Year 4 if they go bankrupt no one gives a single fuck about employee
Yea but the federal government will probably step in and bail us out with your tax dollars so what’s your point?
@@ivankfermin i have not a single word to reply since you are economic expert 😂 live in world that you made for yourself bye bye
Could you make a video breaking down a cover driver and there pay
Will do that!!!
I’m 21 almost 22 and in the process of becoming a driver for ups 🙏🏼…
Good luck 💪🏾
Thanks for your excellent explanation! God bless you and your family.
Don’t forget life insurance for both you (and a lesser amount for your spouse) paid for by the company. Hopefully you will never have to use it, but make sure that you - and your heirs - are aware of it. It paid me $5,000 after my wife died.
first year 1 week 2nd year 2 weeks vacation that's crazy. i get 2 weeks in my first year
We do also it’s an option week, we can break into days or take the whole week off
Do You have to work in the warehouse first before becoming a driver? I’ve been told that u have to work in the warehouse first. The down part about that it’s part time first.
no
@@rochester3 I’m in ca do I just go on the ups website and apply for a driver? How does it work for someone trying to become a driver.
@@Mike-pn7yd yeah if they have positions you can apply, they mostly hire around peak season near Christmas time
@@Mike-pn7ydyou be lucky if ups hire you . Last I heard there firing a lot of people
@@jojolopez177 damn
My brother job explaining it. you forgot the option week that we got. we can break it up and use it in days throughout the year, or we could decide whether to work it n get paid extra. Or take a full week off. 💯🙏💯
My bad cuz!
@@ivankfermin🙏🙏🙏
Can you apply to be a driver? Or they start you from the bottom?
Depends where you apply
Yo I deliver for UPS in New England. 7 years seniority. I have 3 pending term notices. And my center manager is a cunt. Ups is literally the worst company to work for. Workers r worthless to UPS. We r dogs. I'm about to have to my arbitration soon and can't wait. Ill probably get suspended or terminated. If I don't get my job back I'm going to make a gigantic fucking scene to my center manager. Really excited for it actually. The biggest thing I hate is the lack of respect between humans. The patronizing and belittling of drivers is sad. Good video. The union does fight for u but fuck management. All management drink the same cool aid and jerk each other off behind closed doors after all the trucks leave the building in the morning. Don't work for UPS
Yo. what is a LP?
Lost prevention
How many hours would you say you work overtime (just average OT)
Just average depends the person but I try to get at least 5+
@@ivankfermin Good information, thanks for the reply.
i take full responsibility but i whing cause i got fired, and of course the Teamster keep a dirt bags job par for the course.
Your cool
Ups fired me like 4 times still working here i have good union local 😂managmnt sucks .
Nice what local?
396
Would you recommend starting inside first? Currently there are no open positions near me but Im thinking getting in anyway i can first
Yes I do , start building seniority as fast as you can
Drivers vs management
Never ever do that.. drivers getting fired for this instantly. The damn customer sometimes also gets it at times and say they didn’t.. don’t fall for it.
Yes happens all the time, I had to learn the hard way
A driver in my building just got fired for that like a month now. I can’t imagine that guy doing that, for all the years I know him. But the customer call 2 weeks after he signed and left it and said she never received it. Hard for me to believe
I assumed it was rust proofing
Haha I have a couple upgrades coming out soon just got the car
ups has lost at least 30% of its volume within 1 year
Yea we had a contract negotiation
building workers lift at least 20-50 THOUSAND lbs per shift
Yes it’s not easy
Setting yourself up for success with that 401k and UPS stock setup coming out weekly. Seen so many drivers who don't put anything away for their entire career, big mistake. Good for you.
Yea man just start of small, I started doing 10$ a week for the stock, now I try to max it out
I hear everything you saying my brother. I guess your local/union actually cares about its members. In my case the center was on my dick all last year. The local/union just sat back as I got warning letter after warning letter. Never once did they come to my defense to get mgmt off me. I put in harassment grievances and nothing happened until this year when I was terminated. I was accused of signing for packages with not one customer putting in a claim. Dude the only thing I was guilty of was closing out pickups and was not at the location but I picked up the packages from the pickups already before their pickup time. It was exactly as you said my hearing was a “whose dick is bigger contest” but it’s my job on the line not the union/local. I see how the union really gives 0 fucks about us after that.
You keep 100 I did work at a ups hub for the holiday but left the supervisor was a jerk I enjoy your content
Thanks I appreciate it
evil company. And I mean that. I want the whole world to know it
Hahaha
