Just get a locking nut for that bolt and bingo you'll be fine I had to do it for the light on my Aventon Sinch 2.0 and Im doing mostly steep hills and lots of gravel

I ride my wired without changing the settings, I Ride using pedal assist 2 and 3 And a fair amount of throttle Just put 46 miles on it yesterday And still had 57.7% on the battery.

Im really glad Wired already updated the 2024 with dual batteries etc etc to really go head to head with E Cells bikes and they didn't even raise the price. The way that ebike could get regulated or banned is because people contact their politicians and ask them to do it so if we don't want that to happen the ebike people need to be the people that contact their politicians and advocate for ebike freedom. That's how it works.

Just watched another vid showing the copy of the wired freedom and it definitely is 285. While the vid was in centigrade l it was flashing at 140C and doing the math that is 285F While that bike didn't shut down or reduce power, who knows what will happen? It only flashed at that temp

So while I agree with your conclusion of temporarily overheating, on a few occasions riding my Wired Cruiser on bumpy terrain, it shut down on me. After poking around for loose connections etc. I found that the problem was the battery losing connection enough to shut the bike down. Threw a strap around the battery to keep it from wiggling at all and haven’t seen the issue since.

I live in Vegas and my bike is parked until October. You have more heat tolerance than me.

Let's face it. E-bikes in AZ don't do well in the summer. I only go out at dawn any more, and I watch the motor temp like a hawk. It's not me I'm worried about. It's the electrical components on the bike. I also bring the battery and charger into the house when I'm done.

Almost every video ive watched on the Wired Freedom, there are complaints about issues they are having with it. At this point it just seems to me that the E-Cells 5 Star is just a better made bike. I do love the new dual battery setup and 45A controller they are using on the 2024 models and the step thru frame of their Cruiser though so its making my decision tough.

Im a senior citizen daily rider. For the last 2 years, I've averaged 150-300 miles every month. I now have 2 ebikes, and I'll soon have 3 ebikes, all for me. Ha ha.

After years of trying to pick a damned bike, your video had me pull the trigger. Dual batter 60v is good for me. I'm into rc's also BTW lol.

I'm kinda skeptical about the lack of an integral chain guard on that chain ring. Not only cause of concern about chain jump but also I don't want chain grease on my pants.

I love my 2023 Blue Wired Freedom, but I must admit, that orange looks pretty cool too! I'd probably buy the Wired again, the E-Cells bike is just kinda ugly ;-)

I think all seniors should get one. Baby Boomers are a huge voting block and maybe it will get the politicians to give safe dedicated bus and bike lanes. This reduces congestion in the cities plus noise and pollution, not to mention, but change to a mixed zoning law so we have nice pedestrian neighborhoods.

Nothing wrong with the step through especially if you have a bag on the back, even though you can swing your leg, it's easier to bail out of. for seniors e bikes are good exercise and get you out of the house
