It was really interesting to see the similarities and differences between the origin stories and the Disney adaptations! And to learn that these stories were penned by famous authors like the Grimm Bothers and Hans Christian Anderson was mind-blowing! Learn something new every day, huh?

I want to do another episode sometime! Beauty and the Beast is my fave Disney movie and the close second is Aladdin. But those are like... the ONLY 2 I can tolerate.

@ I tend to rewatch and like the older ones that aren’t princess-centric, like Robin Hood, Jungle Book, Hunchback… Toy Story is a “newer” one I do enjoy but the rest could disappear and I wouldn’t be mad about it 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

I've never really liked Disney or cartoons. There's a FEW that get through but... I'm large part, NOT a fan.

I agree. It really did turn out amazing! The dark blue is growing on, and Sundown keeps forgetting to bring home new tape, so... I might just stick to the dark blue!

THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE WITH CANADIAN CANDY AND SHE IS ME! 😆 🤣 😂 Fish scaling: (usually found with cheaper quality drills) and a term I made up (i make up my own words for stuff 😆) for when the cheaper special drills lose/shed their coating. Ever notice how budget drills will leave "fish scale" like bits of ab coating in the baggy/ container and the drills themselves will be lack luster or have "shed" their coating off? That = fish scaling in Mushy speak 😆 The more I look at that canvas, the more I like the dark blue tbh! 💙

@ We will discuss the whole candy situation later. You have not won this battle! Mwahahaha! Thank you for explaining your term, and it makes complete sense. I think it should be adopted across the diamond painting community. Tbh, I am just now working on my very first canvas with AB’s (or any specialty drills at all, if I’m being completely transparent). I purchased one of those little diamond painting pens from Temu that has a single placer on one end, but a cone of wax that screws into the other end. I think it was $2.99 CAD and that included the complete pen, two additional wax cones above the one already installed on the pen, and a stainless case with a foam insert to keep everything pristine. To cut this story short, I LOVE this thing for picking up AB drills! I made a mistake and grabbed a drill with my regular pen one day; since it came off my pen completely nekkid, I am thinking that would be fish scaling, albeit caused by my putty. Using the wax cone I have had not one bit of coating come off (I am a curious little monster, so I check it every so often) and it seems to be holding its shape really well. I’m sure you have tried everything, but that was a new piece of kit for this painting, so I’m a tad bit excited. LOL I do not claim to have an artist’s eye - I EMPHATICALLY DO NOT! - but what I DO have is an eye for colour. Big shout out to my university roommate who was a Fine Arts major and we helped each other study for exams as music and fine art cross into each other in so many ways. We ‘both’ aced the heck out of Colour Theory! 😜 Thanks for the explanation! (((((((Hugz)))))))❣️❣️🥰

Ew! An application medium that pulls the coating off is the worst (right up there with one that comes out with the drill placement and mucks up the drill and canvas and just will NOT come of that placed drill!) But what you described, YES, I world definitely call "fish scaling"! I got and sometimes use those pencils made of wax for AB drills, especially ones prone to fish scaling! That's another option as well! Re candy: should I be afraid? 😆
