Got my Mod 1 on Wednesday, and my Mod 2 Tuesday next week. This has clarified my thoughts exactly! Thank you for the thorough explanation!

Yesterday (22 November 2024) I passed my MOD 2 test. I would like to thank the owner of this video. This helped me a lot. Thank you very much.

I stopped riding my SV because of the clip ons. She sat in the garage not used for a couple of years. I brought the same kit as you have recently and it has made the world of difference to the bike. I've fitted lower foot pegs too. I can now ride the bike for a good gew hours and get off without throbbing, aching wrists. Wish I'd have done it ages ago.

i went with jim allan falkirk failed on swerving twice mod 1 twice never got enough training on that so i took my own bike and passed myself doing mod2 next on my own don't need money grabbing training

Hi, I love your video series, not just the tips but the scenery also, I personally would welcome the occasional location information as I would love to visit. I realise they are around Stirling, Bridge of Allan and maybe Doune but a little location commentary would be very welcome - please keep making these as they are inspiring me, I am 71 and have just gained my CBT.

I've passed my mod2 a few months back, and am loving riding. I feel like im a bit too slow on roundabouts, always have a car up my ass. any advice?

Does anyone know if the riding position in terms of the footpegs is identical between the 1000 and the 650?

I passed my mod2 today and I’m over the moon,I would advise anyone to take lessons, I have ridden bikes on and off in my life and this helped me, but I learned so much about awareness on the road and taking everything onto consideration .Go the lesson way if only for a few.

Thinking about trying these grips. I too suffer cramping in the right hand. I always assumed it was God's punishment for youthful indiscretions. Seriously though, I tend to cover the brake with two fingers and figured that might be the root of the issue. I'll give these a try and see what happens. Thanks for the helpful review.

I always tell my Wife, on a motorway, you have to drive all three lanes at once - you always need to know what is coming up in Lane 1, and how quickly you are closing on the vehicle in front; whilst also knowing what is coming behind you in Lane 2 and how fast, and if Lane 3 is clear (just in case the numpty in Lane 2 isn't paying attention when you pull into 2 from 1).

This is extremely confusing because my instructor told me some things slightly different, for example you shouldn’t be switching lanes in a roundabout because someone behind on that lane will need to break or slow down for you, apparently you should rather cut across the lanes to take your exit so now idk 🤷‍♂️ who’s correct about what

Would you be able to pass a mod 1 on an sv650s sports bike ? i have it booked for Monday and I'm now worried that's its going to be impossible to pass on a sports bike

Thank you for the video. I am back on a bike after too many years, from riding in Norfolk in the 70's to the busy South Wales valleys has been an experience! This video has given me more confidence with filtering, something I am still quite nervous about. Thanks again.

Although my mod two instructors were good, I was still confused about observations and lifesavers before watching this video. On the run-up to my test, I studied the heck out of this video to really drill in proper habits. Out on the road, speaking to myself about what to do worked a treat. Thankfully, I did not make a single observational error on test and I passed with one minor (which the examiner laughed about). I am no expert by any means and I still have much to learn. One thing is clear, however, I probably would not have passed without this content. Thank you for uploading! Incidentally, I now do the extra life saver. It feels safer.

In a first place thanks a lot for all the videos - I do have a lot of concerns about roundabouts and found your videos extremely helpful. Also mountains' views in some of the videos are stunning. Would have a question on the last roundabout view and right turn there to the left line (27m44s). Wouldn't be safer to turn right to the right lane of the 3rd exit? The reason i'm asking as if someone would be joining roundabout from our 1st exit and going straight they would land in our 3rd exit in left lane making it a collision path when they want to accelerate (straight line) and if we keep steady pace this could cause potential danger. Are there any rules against to use right lane of 3rd exit? Regards

Hi mate - loving the videos. Have my MOD2 Monday and they’re really helping me - especially the roundabout ones. Test 8am in Musselburgh so expecting roads to be busy Had a quick question on the roundabout at 15:04. I think I would have been tempted to go into the lane left of the one you were in when on the roundabout. Looks like the traffic in lane. Could I have used either? Seen exit is past 12 o clock so know we would approach in right lane and there’s no 4th exit so guess that’s why it was rightmost lane for the exit?

I said before how magnificent this channel is and I haven't got to the recent videos yet . I'm going in for my mod 1 and MOD 2 test in a few months.. I've been riding on my CBT.. and other road users especially car users are oblivious to motorcyclist.. thank you once again for a great demonstrations
