Do you start baking the pizza when the fire dies out in the oven ? I have only used the gas in my oven (Ooni Karu 16) but have the possibility to use wood. Preheat the thing for 40 min. Want to try wood or pellets.

Thanks for the video, got one cooking tip that works great for fish, its to hot smoke it, 50:50 salt:sugar for two hours, then in smoke for 20 minutes (max temp 50°C). Its a delicatessen.

Has any one of you ever tried CROSSED pulk wands? Where they cross place a large rubber O-ring at the X to keep the wands together. X'd wands make turning tight turns much easier than parallel wands. I know, I used to have parallel wands. I'm amaze that there was so much previous use of p[arts of the trail before your group came through. Evidently Swedes love to ski tour and so do I! I also did a bit or racing in my 30s. My longest ski race was the Canadian Ski Marathon from LaChute Quebec to Ottawa's Rideau Canal. 100 miles in two days. My busy and I REALLY needed that hot hotel shower at the end of the last day!

Interesting video.MAKING ICE CREAM WHILE WINTER CAMPING. Are you quite MAD? ;o) But it's an interesting idea for a group and great for bragging rights. BTW, I used to store my wooden skis with a 2 cm thick block of wood between them and bind the shovel and tail areas to hold the block in place. This helps wooden skis keep their proper camber. I like pulks and have built my own. I prefer rigid poles, crossed, to make turning easier. Ah, good old reliable MSR Whhisperlite Universal stove. I have one too. My wife and I were in Tromso in October of 2023 and WE DID NOT SEE NORTHRN LIGHTS! Aaaaarrrrgggghhhh! But I have seen them in Canada in the 1970s.

Wonderful video. Thank you so much. I love the scenes with the northern lights above your tent. You are my inspiration to do small adventures in the cold. For example today, my husband and me went with our bikes to a little lake in the forest. After sun set. We were sitting with our Helinox chairs at 0 C until it was dark. The moon light was shining on the frozen lake. We were covered with warm blankets and drank hot tea. Just sitting in the stillness in nature. It was so wonderful. Haha, that's what real Northeners do at -10C, they make and eat ice cream!!! I remember in my childhood all foreigners were freaking out when we, children walked on a street and eat ice cream in winter at -20C. Well done! The actual expression is "I'll keep my fingers crossed". Images of Aurora Borealis are fantastic. Be well.😍
