      Hey, Colin 😃 Great to hear from you again. Thanks friend. I was supposed to make a tomato sauce for the ravioli, but I forgot the tomatoes back home - therefore a plain pasta dish with butter and cheese. I’m back in Bali again for a couple of weeks. Love the climate and long sunny days. I guess you’re still in Australia? Hope you’re doing well 😃👍

      Takk, Stein-Evert 👌 Er det håpløse snøforhold i form av mye snø/vind eller lite snø? Kan melde om god temperatur og stekende sol på Bali 😎

    • @gnella
      @gnella Год назад

      @@HikingHansen Det er lite snø, og i området jeg ferdig mye i er det bar mark nå. Har tanker om å dra over grensen mot Sverige, eller i høyden andre steder, men må avvente pga av en fotojobb jeg begynner med over helga. Neste helg håper jeg å komme meg av gårde. Ikke lang tur, har fått betennelse i ei skulder, og må trene opp andre skulderen etter at jeg skaden den for snart to år siden. Ultralyd i går viser en del avriving av muskelen, her er det ikke annet å gjøre enn å trene opp styrken av det som er igjen. Men men, jeg kommer meg nok ut, akkurat nå er det mest tida det skorter på.
      Kos deg på Bali, antar det er varmt og godt der. :)

    Nice video again. And nice doggy, she don't run away after rabbits. I have same kind of equipments as you: hot tiipii tent with titanium stove, Allak 3, Paris pulka, pasta roller, .... I'd like to ask about using wood for burning, does it belong to every-mans-rights. We 🇫🇮 can collect only dead wood from ground.

    • @HikingHansen
      @HikingHansen  Год назад +1

      Thanks, Pauli 😀
      She left left camp a couple of times - as you can see in the video, she wasn’t present all the time 😅 We have similar taste then 👌 I just love hot tent camping. Being able to stay warm, cook and enjoy the sound of wood crackling in the stove is unbeatable.
      You have right to collect dead wood. It doesn’t say anything about whether the trees need to be found on the ground or not.

    Great vid, I have the same tent in the dynema. Pretty amazing making ravioli and that contraption, must have been a heavy load

    • @HikingHansen
      @HikingHansen  Год назад +1

      The dynema version of the cimarron looks great. Does it work well with a stove inside? I’ve heard some different opinions concerning DCF and stoves.
      Yes, it was a heavy load, but I only hiked for about 1 hours and 30 minutes from the car👌

    • @BackcountryRenegade
      @BackcountryRenegade Год назад

      @@HikingHansen yes it works well but the chimney needs to be at least 6 in longer then normal to protect it from ash

    Great video - there is something so cozy about watching videos on hot tenting! I have a question regaring tent. I'm looking to purchase my first hot tent and looking at cimarron and redcliff from Seek Outside. Main use will be for two persons. Is there enough space in Cimarron to sleep two persons comfortably with a stove, or would you want to upgrade to redcliff? Thank you!

    • @HikingHansen
      @HikingHansen  5 месяцев назад

      Thank you 😊
      I think cimarron is big enough for two people with a stove. Since the tent is somewhat small, it’s easier to keep it warm compared to bigger tents. Of course, you can choose to upscale the size of stove, but considering the weight to size ratio, I really like the cimarron 😊

      Hey Maarten 😃 That’s a great question. Yes, I’m based in Oslo. From where I live it takes about 30 minutes to drive, and one hour to hike - depending on how far you want to go 🥾
