I just played it for the first time it’s fun and it’s scary and I don’t get scared from games normally, daytime isn’t bad but it changes at night, i go from being a badass overpowered acrobatic to me running for my life from the night zombies the music is really well done and chilling, I can’t believe I never played it earlier I love games with any parkour and combat and zombies it’s literally my type of game

It’s probably my favorite zombie game right now, the zombies kinda remind me of the last of us zombies in a sense that they are scary but the last of us zombies can sometimes be repetitive and dying lights zombies move in a realistic physics based way and it could be a different experience each zombie you fight

I've hearrd it said that Zombies are popular because they are a threat that everyone could imagine themselves beating them. If you compare them to Jason, Micheal Myres or the Xenomorph Zombies kinda suck unless there in big hords, especially if they are the slow kind. Zomvie stories therefore often play with the idea that an average person, if they are clever enough, would reach a high level of freedom. This plays into the fantasy of being a badass by making the enemy threatning but not overwealming. I think everone at some point made a plan what they would do in a Zomby outbreak, as did I. Dying Light expands that idea with the Parcour element, a cool ability often seen in action movies, making the player character even more badass and by doing that making the power fantasy more appealing.

Hook lady pretty much sums up the attitudes of society since 2015/2016: -Women and minorities have a place in history and their stories need to be told. -Players and viewers dont mind a good story about either *However* -Players and viewers dont want to be force-fed stories that never happened, or feel rushed/forced in, just to have women and minorities in it. Women fought in WW2. They didnt have hook hands and fought in the thick of the front lines, but that doesnt mean they didnt serve an important or war changing role. Some of the best snipers of the war were women. Some of the best spies were women. Women are integral, but faking their roles makes it feels forced and sets back women big time.

I don't notice the fortnite effect because generally speaking, I despise the toxicity of super popular PvP and fortnite's cringe as a whole. HOWEVER, I remember when Modern Warfare 4 first came out and how shelves were awash in brown covers with nondescript army man walking. That's why I loved Spec-Ops the line because it was such a punch to the gut for the people who loved those sorts of games. The only game that I decently invested in that had this sort of success was Helldivers 2, but that was because of how amazingly fun it was, and how incredible the developers are.

Dont buy it" i was just a kid still in school, but after seeing the trailer i wanted to just ignore the woman with the hook arm and so later i did buy the game but it slowly died for me, as the devs were doing horrible things with the game throughout as they introduced battle royal it seems off having that in a battlefield game, the characters werent also for me, sure i prob bought one character but i just felt like this was wrong, the part i completely stopped playing the game was when they changed the game COMPLETELY, it was the ttk change it was so bad i just stopped playing the game.

I think what I took away from the whole thing, is that EA will never listen to fans so long as people give them money. They will keep producing shovelware because they know it will make money, and if fans keep giving them money, who cares if their game studios get shut down for putting out mediocre content. EA is weeping fake tears while taking the pay check. You want to fix this? Stop giving EA and it's studios money, that goes to any dev who is putting out mediocre content, stop giving them money! It's that easy... Vote with your wallet, not your words

I am an unapologetically spiteful sort of person.. If a company makes a game or movie or show, containing stuff that I don't like, then says, "If you don't like it, don't buy it.. We don't care!" .. Well, I won't care if they end up fixing the problem later and it turns out to be amazing. I still won't buy it. You're not going to talk to me like that and still get my money.
