With Fallout 76 and Starfield being subpar, Far Harbor really ended up being the last great thing Bethesda produced.
i never noticed the duduk horn segment that lasts for only 2 notes at 1:57 wish there was more of that instrument in the soundtrack

Oh, I think the game has a lot to offer. It was best when it was just you, alone, trying to understand what had happened. On the other hand, I think that Bethesda made some bad creative choice with the story, and of the dead NPCs you listen to, very few were likeable or even interesting.
@@c.s.oneill2079maybe the poster meant when it was 1st released, as it was not good. But now it's a very immersive game. And with the TV series I've seen a plethora of new players, I'm loving helping all the new people. Can't wait for the map expansion this summer
@@menace4082 Hi. I appreciate the reply. I joined a couple of months after it debuted in 2018, so maybe I missed the most debilitating problems. My feeling was that it was very immersive even back then, and the map expansive until I had explored it. The music, the ambience, the environment were all so ... solitary. I didn't care for the story or recorded NPCs though. I just felt that they were unlikeable and the story uninspired. But, there were lots on neat elements, and it was fun. For a time. I'm looking forward to the expansion as well. It is also the setting for our pen and paper RPG.

Just started a character & went straight to Far Harbor. Living with Longfellow, whom i have adopted as my Grandpa & we live close enough to town to swim to. Mitch & Debbie arguing about Tink the cat is comical & Cassie Dalton always has the most mysterious stories.
Playing this game with headphones vs TV speakers is a night and day difference. This music adds so much mystery to exploring Nuka World. I love it.

The music used for this area never seemed to have an official soundtrack release, you can find it by searching (Dishonored Dunwall Distillery Ambience). A user by the name Slinkerdeer has uploaded 2 videos of it, one with rain effects and one without, hope that helps.
