- Clavering Boulevard, is a main thoroughfare in the Distillery District. Taking its name from a deceased High Overseer, John Clavering, one end is a bridge over the Wrenhaven River while the other is a fork, leading to both Holger Square and the Golden Cat.

There is a strange almost comforting feeling i get sometimes in these games - when you are inside some abandoned house say, high above the street - above the civilians and guards - nobody has seen you - nobody knows you are there - nobody can get to you. You are free to just take in the ambiance...
i share the most feeling too....unbelievable..
Think you'll get your own Squad after what happened last night?
@@scarletcrusade77 Yes. I believe so.
@@scarletcrusade77 Never doubt it.
I always get the imagine of Corvo perched on a railing in the rain.
Dishonored is a one of a kind masterpiece.
It may sound strange, but I feel comfortable in this place. My favourite game. Thank you.
Me too, big time
Include me also bro
Soma :D
Same, guys
I understand, even if it was in a videogame, you have been there.
This feeling is with me with games like RDR, Mass Effect, Fallout and even with Dishonored, its so beautiful to have experienced such ambients that it makes me sad that it isnt "real".
Damn when 1:01 to 1:45 and 2:20 kicks in i always get the chills.. its so nostalgic. It makes you feel like corvo.. as if you've seen it all and felt it all.. your lovers death, betrayal, revenge.. Such a hugely underrated game
I used to say that but no it isn't underrated it's the game that saved arkane studio and it gained Bethesda a ton of money so i wouldn't say it's underrated but you know what's underrated it's the soundtracks and daniel licht
i dont think you know what underrated means
yes
Game that won goty? I wouldn't call it underrated. But I know that in general it's not what most people enjoy playing. Recommended it to my friends but they refused to play it cause they prefer fast paced shooters
you can almost feel how this city reeks
The outsider walks among us.
this ambience is ART
As a thorough lover of the Dishonored franchise, I can't explain just how much I appreciate what you did here. I was having a seriously shitty mood until this kicked on, but once it did I felt the tension gradually fading. I've played this game so many times, through good and bad, and being able to sit here and enjoy not just the memories, but the sense as though I'm THERE again.
It probably sounds cheesy as hell, but I mean it; this was seriously something I needed, and if you decide to continue making these as you have been, I'll be waiting for them. Thank you for the effort, and for the healthy dose of nostalgia.
great to find more friends who love this game as much as i do
yee true
my favorite game of all time
I have got a shit tone of favourite games, from Half Life 2 to VTMB, from TES to Fable series, Total war and many other (guess half of well known games).
But Dishonored... it is something else. Probably the one I am thinking about the most. The lore, the universe and atmosphere is one of a kind.
24:00 Oh boy, I was so-so on this game until I heard this sting. It put me in the zone. I stopped and just listened to this while watching the guards from the rooftop.
yeah it was same for me, climactic as fooooo ck.
watch out for duads men
Whenever i hear 1:15 suddenly the world is less sad its like someone telling me "everything is gonna be alright"
After TES Online ruined my love for The Elder Scrolls series, Dishonored world, enigmatic and dreamlike, became my favourite. Especially the first one, the second part impressed me only with its art design.
Something in Dishonored makes me feel connected to it. Like a part of my soul was nurtured and upbrought in Dunwall. I love cosy Victorian/Geogrian era houses, though abandoned and with squalid interiors, love to read about legends and tales about long voyages. Love almost Lovecraftian, dreamlike vibe when you walk in the streets, watching the setting sun over the Wrenhaven river and reminiscing about something...
Just don’t play TES Online haha. Dishonored’s world is great too.
Yeah oddly enough I loved Dishonored but I could never get into Dishonored 2...
@@wakkjobbwizard Dishonored 2 just doesn't have the same weight in terms of emotions. It's just another escapade. First part was just one of a kind story.
@@matheff71 yeah I like Karnaca (is it called? It’s been a few years), the environments, and the characters but it never really felt right.
How could ESO ruin your love for the series when the games are completely different..notice the word online? Did someone put a gun to your head and force you to play it smh
If you decide to go up Clavering, don't let the guards spot you.
Watch out for Bottle Street thugs if you take to the alleys - mean bastards.
I'll be here when you come back.
Good luck, Corvo.
This is where I grew up.
rat
My favourite game of all time, and has been got 6 years. Only now I've come to appreciate the music and will be for a long time
❤️
I love this, it's kinda weird but I feel at home, I feel good. Dunwall is a beautiful city.♡
When it's not being ravaged by the Rat Plague that is.
@@nickkurzy2246 when it's also ravaged in my opinion.
_Not so long ago, Dunwall was a proud city_
the only thing that could have made it better is the sound of weeper corpses being piled up in boats
Thank you for these videos! Dishonored is the only game that has really given me that comforting feeling. They did an amazing job of creating this unique world that anyone who has played it feels a part of. It has also helped me get through a back injury over the last 18 months knowing that if Corvo is out there grinding away in the dark and rainy rat infested streets, I can get back to strength too, it sounds kind of sad and weird to think that of a video game but idk haha! It makes me happy to read others comments expressing the same thing.
I've seen other ambiance recordings from Clavering Boulevard, but I think this one might be the best one out of all of them. You showcased the location and soundscape beautifully. Thanks for the upload!
This is 👍... never knew I wanted this but clicked immediately
Thanks for this I just got the dishonored trilogy on the PlayStation after not playing for years
1:15 ❤️
Dishonored is a Masterpiece
All melodies and sounds in this game are so sublime and evocative
I love the music that plays at 24:00. When you decide to bypass the main entrance to the Abbey and instead blink over across rooftops and go through Bottle Street, hoping to find an Outsider shrine on the way in.
Excellent! Thank you for the ambiance, and for switching through the scenery. Consider me subscribed.
Wish I could get an mp3 of that sound between 24.00 & 27.00. It's such a relaxing vibrant ambience.
I am not sure, but I heard a track called Distillery, I think you should try to find it :)
@@ladyboyle I'll look. Cheers my friend.
Did you find it, my friend? Pls share with me, if you are, i am really like it too .
12:10 that sign on the left wall actually blinkers?! I have never in my years of playing DISHONORED have noticed that!
I love this game so much that I got the Outsider's Mark tatted on my left hand. This game is my all time favorite and the ambience it brings makes it even better than it already is. 13/10.
I want to get this tattoo too buddy
This is my favourite one.
I just found this channel but watching all the videos takes me back to when i played dishonored a lot. Hope you have more of these coming out soon!
i got this game the year it cameout good times 10 year old me playing stealth games
I love the idea of ur channel 👏🏻 just subbed. I always stop like this to appreciate the beautiful environments in games 💙
Great ambience, thank you.
Thank you for this.
I love this!!! Next you should make Kingsparow Island the atmosphere there is also undescribable.
Ey man, thank you for posting this.
24:00 is my fav its like im on the hunt love since day one give me chills
Thanks !
I have clean handed the game 3 times now, I know every detail, every sidequest yadayada, yet I still come back, year after year since 2012 when I pre ordered it, Arkanes best game by far IMO
I am sure about that as well. Their best. The atmosphere is SUPREME, even all the beatiful aesthetics of Dishonored 2 can't come even close to the vibe Dishonored 1 had.
prey is really good too
Finally someone did this!
This is perfect to have in the back while I read one of the dishonored books
wanna gather for whiskey and cigars tonight?
Yes, I believe so.
I love how at 18:00 you can hear whispers of the Void.
it reminds me of the ambience of the city from thief 3
Shall we gather for whiskey and cigars tonight?
On se réunit ce soir avec un whisky et des cigares ?
Shall we gather for baguettes and croussaints tonight?
@@crestfallenknight7983 hahaha you bet my friend, btw the French version is exquisite
@@ultrazihnu considering French created Dishonored series, they are amazingly talented people
3:07 how on earth did you get the camera there!?
There's a big pipe you can climb onto.
It's the 15:47 to 16:05 for me..
you are here for this 24:00 and this 27:00
24:00 is there a name for this bit? i'd like to have it.
The music used for this area never seemed to have an official soundtrack release, you can find it by searching (Dishonored Dunwall Distillery Ambience). A user by the name Slinkerdeer has uploaded 2 videos of it, one with rain effects and one without, hope that helps.
@@gamescapes912 dude, this was literally my christmas present. i'm downloading it right now in my cellphone. i gather songs like this (which include Thief's!) to study. great for answering questions!
3:00 was that the sound of a whale?
Could you turn off the music? It would be more better if there is no background music
This perfect ass camera angle man what the hell
