    U need to allocate 70-80% of ur training routine into wrist and cup training. Backpressure and pronation won't help u much in the short term if u can't stop his pronation & backpressure. I started training arm wrestling a year back, focused mostly on rising & pronation. 3 months back, i started dedicating time to my multispinner and barbell wrist curls. I have surely improved a lot. Cup training for toprollers is so overlooked, but there lies the key, a good offence only starts with a good defence.

    bro, spam the riser exercize every day with low weight and high reps.A minimum of 30 reps per set with a tight angle, try to only move your elbow so you pull with your back and keep the rise intact.Trust me on this one , your riser will lvl up fast and you will get better .

      Definitely Floating the elbow. All my exercises I have my elbow planted and in return I tend to plant it during practice. Floating it immediately feels more natural and probably how pulling on the table should feel like.

    nice, hows your weight? i am like 211lbs and my max on this (first exercise) is 110lbs but i think there is no sense tbh to isolate wrist i mean if your wrist is definitely weaker maybe it's a point, but wouldn't be more beneficial just to go side while cupping simultaneously? and it directs even more to armwrestling because on the table u dont isolate anything

    • @PlamenTheArmwrestler
      @PlamenTheArmwrestler 2 месяца назад

      Currently weighing in at 172 And I agree the whole body is a chain and we shouldn't need to isolate to this degree. I started getting into much more technical stuff since then. Highly recommend watching some of my newer content.

    • @PlamenTheArmwrestler
      @PlamenTheArmwrestler 2 месяца назад

      For a beginner you need to mix general strength training along with armwrestling exercises every workout. 3 workouts a week Spend the remainder of time resting and recovering Workouts also generally are measured with sets, reps, and weights. I wouldn't measure time. Some days you will feel good and you do the workout much faster than other days. On average my workouts last 2-3 hours. This involves general strength training, a few armwrestling exercises and some table time.

    Why this much aggression? And why don't you let them grip? It looks like a super match rather than a training session

    • @PlamenTheArmwrestler
      @PlamenTheArmwrestler 2 месяца назад

      Hey Kae really good question. It is good to sometimes train slow and get a better feel for a muscle or technique. Realistically most competitive matches do not last more than a few seconds and its important to learn how to properly utilize your aggression and technique to pin as efficiently as possible. We all communicate with each other and what we are looking for in a pull. On this specific day I wanted to train speed and power for my lat drag. The grip is another aspect of arm wrestling which usually decides the match before you even start arm wrestling. Its a very big negotiation and its important to not settle for less than what you feel is a comfortable grip.

    • @kae12.
      @kae12. 2 месяца назад

      @PlamenTheArmwrestler Thank you for the answer. I got it. The reason why I asked is, it was so hard for me to watch the first pull. My mirror neurons declared war. My tendons started to speak, and they didn't say any good lol. Other than that, I normally don't let them to grip as well, but in practice matches I let them. But you told me why, so it's okay, I understand perfectly. Again, thank you for the reply, wish you guys all the best 🎉
