The BikeShed London and a ride to Box-Hill
Met up with a riding buddy at the BikeShed to have lunch and watch the Moto GP, then took a ride over to Box-Hill, unfortunately my camera battery ran out on the way there, so i lost a bunch of footage which is a shame because the roads on the way there are what its all about really. Then the way back was dark. i had a close encounter with a Owl.

2013 Street Triple R two week review
Просмотров 1,2 тыс.8 лет назад
A little video about my new steed, a bike I've wanted since I first started riding. As usual, this isn't a technical breakdown, more of an emotional viewpoint. How the bike feels, not how it performs is what is important in my reviews.

2016 Yamaha MT-10 / FZ-10 Test Ride and Review
Просмотров 15 тыс.8 лет назад
So, finally got to take an MT-10 demo bike out for a spin. love the look of this bike but was sadly not blown away by it. i don't think its a bad bike but there are some very fundamental issues (brakes, seat, tyres, mirrors) that (for me) meant i just couldn't gel with it. although the overall reception has been fantastic both in the press and for the buyers, as to buy one you'll need to wait a...

Suzuki Bandit 1250s 2 week Review EXPLICIT LANGUAGE
Просмотров 76 тыс.8 лет назад
Two week review of the Bandit 1250S pls note, quoted hp is from the older 1200 model, this model is quoted 95.8hp by manufacturer (most likely at the crank) With the right mods, upwards of 130hp can be reached at the wheel.
2015 BMW R nine T Test Ride and Review
Просмотров 6 тыс.8 лет назад
Bimbled along to Coopers Motorrad in Tunbridge Wells and took a brand new R nine T out, here are my thoughts on making a leap to it from a CBR500R, a walkaround and lots and LOTS of rain and mud. ENJOY!
2015 BMW R1200R LC two week review
Просмотров 10 тыс.8 лет назад
Review of the 2015 BMW R1200R, some comparisons between it and the R Nine T and what made me choose this bike. Plus some random thoughts and usual ramblings and observations on my way home from a nightshift. Please note, this is NOT a tech spec its just my own thoughts and feelings on the bike, i may do a more technical review on it later with pre-written notes etc

My first video (introduction to follow) i am still learning and compiling my ramblings into something coherent. these are my views on our skewed societal worship of celebrity over heroes. Why i don't mind the Polite high vis vests and a little tale about a squirrel.

Go to tc 00:02:00:00 (two minutes in) (Eltham Road A20) Lorry, no indicator, not looking just impatiently swerves into the bus lane to go around a car waiting to turn right. i minor inconvenience to him could easily been a hospital job for me and written my bike off. Plate, ODBL4321
my guy, every time you say 'it's a good bike' but then add 'as a winter hack' you kill part of my soul 😩 i'm picking up my second ever bandit tomorrow 😄
These things are almost bargain bin cheap compared to a lot of the (very pricey...) occasions out there right now. They're still around 3-4k mostly, but that actually means it's one of those bikes that hasn't drastically *increased* in occasion pricing :p
Bought a 2009 Suzuki bandit 1250 naked this week, won’t run past 6k revs and won’t go faster then 160kmh. Must be restricted, any idea how to take it out?
these bikes are kind of a basic UJM like you say but 105000km's on my 09 1250 and she still pulls hard. no point reving them to redline but you never feel the need to. If you are looking for a great commuter or cheap tourer suzuki made a solid motor n box
Been looking at these. Not the wine! tho! lol Got myself a VFR800X crossrunner and its developed a hsetiation and its really pissing me off so I'm going to px the damn thing. Tried plugs and coil sticks but it lookes as tho it'll need plugging it at Honda for £150 check. So I'm done with modern bikes....
Love filtering in London
Have a fr800 sport 2018 ,the buzz is still there around 5 to 6k that's its powerband upto 8 and half .You gun it and aren't bothered at that stage cause its acceleration is pretty quick. I've had bkings ,tuned 2nd gen zx14s etc .the f800r is all you need for the roads I ride plus it'll do near on 60mpg .Enough said in these times ..
hi man which jacket do you have? i whould like a leather one with zips on hands like yours
Good review 👍 thanks. Iv been debating bmw but costs can be high if they ever need anything major. I think a sensible suzuki is better for my wallet. Given the choice would you tour Europe on the bandit or bmw? Iv seen a 2015 bandit with only 4k miles full luggage 2keys etc etc it's £ 4750 shall I buy it? Its much cheaper insurance than all the beamer quotes
Ahh Bobby, great review on a fab bike. You know, you sound a bit like Noel Fielding, especially when you said "you were gonna be in troublllllle" Carry on.
Max torque at a mere 3700rpm. It's about the torque and this will run forever, unlike a lot of the modern shit they're selling/leasing these days. Best commuter /tourer by far for the money
Good show
Thanks for the review, I’m looking at buying a used one. I always loved the design. How comfortable was the ride?
time to stop being patronosing.....nuff sed
I wish i never sold my 1250s really nice bike to ride with eye watering torque, also a very easy bike to ride even for a beginner, only thing bad i can say about the bike is the heavy clutch which is surprising considering it's hydrolic
lasted a full 5 seconds of this video ...
Your local shop is not so local 😂
Strange question...was this a loaner from BLD? I used to deliver these bikes as courtesy bikes for them. We would use these when taking the vans in for servicing. Would throw them on the back, drop the van off, and ride back to base. Was a bit of guilty pleasure this one...however the 600 was a wet lettuce.🤣
You can buy them with stock gear indicator.
YOU LIKE THE SEATING POSITION!!!! SURELY YOU MEAN, ENGINE!! LIKE THE ENGINE!!! THAT SOUND'S CORRECT, BRING BACK BANDITS, B.B.B., BRING BACK BANDITS, EVERYONE BRING BACK BANDITS, BANDITS ARE THE BEST.
not even lying?
BANDIT 1250 S. MUST BE LIKE A ROCKET SHIP!!! MY '05 650 GSF BANDIT, NOT EVEN A BANDIT S, IS LIKE AN UNARMED EXORCET SIDEWINDER POLARUS MISSILE, AND I AIN'T EVEN LYING..!!!!!!!
Hello, nice video!! Your speed is km/h or mp/p?
סערגיאָ צווילינג mph
Well I’m sold
Shahd Sherief it’s a very good bike 🏍
Do you recommend this Bike or new er one from like 2013? (gsxr look on The front)
Nice video mate, I’m local to ashford as well
Polite vests are for tools. Our society is degenerate and deliberately corrupted hence Ningi Umboko on £100,000 a week when he can’t even fucking read or write properly and some poor overworked nurse dealing with cunts on £400 a week. It’s what they want. If they didn’t we wouldn’t have it.
A winter hack never heard that about the 1250sa, agree with you as for the economy.
OMG u were chatting up the cashier girl... Smooth criminal!
I have owned a 2016 GSXR 1000, A Hayabusa, A SV 650, A CBR 600 and now I own this BMW F800R and by far this bike has the best seating position, most comfortable and better handling bike than all the above. The heated grips are great and the low seat height is just prefect.
In germany we don't filter like you guys do in the UK, so I guess the driver is uneducated about the UK traffic rules, which is an absolute nogo imo. He should stay in germany before he kills someone. Be safe.

What is the difference between brembo and stock brakes? If they can lock your wheels there good enough I think.
For me personally they felt wooden, I’m used to breaks that are soft to a point then bite really hard. Brembo tend to feel that way, as do the stock breaks on my street triple R. The breaks on the mt10 were very linear. In tests I think the mt10 was able to stop quicker than its competitors at the time of release so that’s clearly not a bad thing. I guess it’s just down to personal preference. I do feel I should take the mt10 out again. I didn’t gel with it on this day, perhaps just because there were some things I didn’t expect, like the riding position, brakes etc I’m very clearly in the minority by saying I didn’t like it. Might try the SP and see how I feel.

This bike is now on my radar...but what was your first bike? You mentioned it was a Honda.
shmac96 indeed it was, a 2014 CBR500RA. I lost the footage I had of that bike which is gutting. But despite not being a beast by any standard it was a fantastic bike. Racked up insane mileage on it and it worked flawlessly.
Why do you call it "near miss" when in fact it's a "near hit"
Moldoveanu Dragos welcome to the English language 😂
Bobby Fett You asume my native language is english. It is not, and I don't realy care much about it. Have a nice day.
I try not to make assumptions about people because they’re always full of surprises. But if I were to make one about you the opposite is true, you have what looks like a Romanian name and asked about a common English saying that anyone speaking native English would know. The English language is sarcastic to its very core.
www.holeshot.com/suzuki/bandit/650-1250
Holeshot offers mods for engine about 1500$ upgrade and you get 125HP at the crank
why?
Correction the stage 2 mods are under 600$ and i measured 128 at the wheel at 648m altitude.
Heated grips are for girls.
Ali Van lol my commute back when I made this video was minimum 4hrs per day in all weathers, about 80% on the motorway. If wanting heated grips makes me a girly girl?... well paint my nails and call me Shirley cos I’m havin’ em!!! 😂😂
Jackbone John lmao
Couldn't stand the hire bandit they lent me, biggest pile of shit I've had the misfortune to ride. No power for a 1250 and yeah basic very basic
Seen him in Sainsbury's twice.
Just brought a racing red R1200R love it ! Had r nine T and speed triple and this bike does it all very well ! And the gadgets!!! Wow!
Hi , what was the other bike that wasn't a CRF pls ?
Never seen someone disrespect a bike they like so much
steady2wheels disrespect?
pretty sure it does have the gear indicator, you just didnt cycle through it on the dash

I have an i8, love cars.. love BMW's but want to get a first bike, anyone have any knowledge on this bike as to what its like being restricted to an A2 Licence and how you do it?
I think your best bet is to pop in to a BMW Motorrad dealership for a chat and leave your wallet at home ;) it's always best to sleep on it and test ride a few bikes before you put money down. The f800 would need a restrictor fitted, but I don't know much about that, there's an A2 ready BMW g310 I believe it's called. As much as I love BMW bikes I do think that if your on an A2 licence there are some absolutely cracking bikes from other brands. For example I started on a Honda CBR500R and I really couldn't fault it.
I was configuring up an f800r sport on the website and it has an option from factory of restricting it to A2 licence for free thats why i was interested so figured if there was a used one they had then they could just do the same. I have ridden the G310 but it just didn't have enough in it for me i want to do some motorway riding and it just wouldn't cut it for me i don't think, plus as soon as i get the full license i can unleash all 800cc. I just love BMW as a brand, and love the look of the F800R sport.
GarbisOnTheGo you might find the f800 lacking a bit with the restrictor fitted too. Definitely get on the phone and try to find an A2 f800 to test ride. If you're driving an i8 I'm guessing age is what has you on an A2. Honesty you might find another brands A2 specific bike would be best until you have your full licence, then you could go back to BMW and get whatever takes your fancy
The thing about it is, the A2 restricts power, but not torque, so i think it will have a fair bit more grunt but yeah i'll try and drive one. Do you know what an i8 is? I'm pretty certain I'm the only 21 year old in the country with one haha. So what do you recommend as the quickest and best looking A2 bike?
😂 yes I know the i8. And good for you having one at 21, most people have to wait till their midlife crisis. A2's Are all about the same speed wise, that's the point of them being A2, and looks are subjective. I had the cbr500r and loved it, I put over 25k on it in a year, it looked like a fire blade but with a square swing arm, and I tricked it out in a black and gold colour scheme. The Yamaha R3 is pretty sexy looking too in my opinion. But like I say, looks are purely subjective. You get out there and ride a ton of bikes. You'll have a blast mate 😜 only thing is I'd advise getting a used one for your first bike as most people drop their first bike at least once. Plus you'll be on your full licence before long so you'll want to sell.
