Thanks for the review, I’m looking at buying a used one. I always loved the design. How comfortable was the ride?

Thanx! That kind of weather :) we usually have the same. Is is confident (or was) to ride in the rain? (perhaps compare to your R1200R)

Tobias Lindstedt hey man, yeah it was fine to ride in the rain. Despite not having a dedicated rain mode like my 1200R did, I find all BMWs are very confidence inspiring because they have traction control.

I really liked this bike when it came out, but it was a bit pricey for me, worth the money I'm sure, but I couldn't justify the cost especially as it wouldn't be my only bike, so I bought a used 2013 CB1100 which is also retro like the BMW. Did you end up buying her? if not maybe take a test ride on the CB if you get time, very smooth and refined bike, but maybe not as quick as the BMW. Just subbed, Paul from Essex.

+Slowrider Paul Hey Paul, I actually ended up buying the 2015 R1200R,a similar ride but not quite as retro looking, but comes with the full suite of BMW's gadgets for around the same price. so things like cruise control and rider modes suited my needs a bit better. would live to take the Honda out for a spin though :)
