Thx Miss. Keenan. I really want to release and move on from the anger of systemic oppression but have found it difficult to since I can’t change my reality. The exploitation, abuse, and violence from a supremacy that I’ll never be a member of, the consequences I and the public face due to my efforts to bridge gaps in disparities has me sick to my stomach. Therapist aren’t helpful as they cannot change the socialization of the world we live in. And I cringe at all the years of training and sacrifice only to be met with extreme psychological abuse and oppression. Ugh it feels so hopeless
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and trusting me with your feelings. I can hear the depth of your pain and frustration, and I want to acknowledge the immense weight of carrying anger and hopelessness in the face of systemic oppression. It is so valid to feel the way you do, given the reality you’ve described. I want to encourage you to honor these emotions-not to dwell in them but to recognize that they are a natural response to an unjust world. Releasing anger is not about dismissing the reality of oppression but about reclaiming your power and peace in a system that often seeks to strip it away. You have every right to feel and process what you’re experiencing, and I deeply admire your efforts to bridge gaps and create change despite the toll it has taken. As a psychotherapist, I work with individuals to navigate these feelings and emotions, and I want to remind you of the strength and resilience already within you. While we cannot change the systems overnight, we can change how we relate to them. Through mindfulness practices, you can create a space of inner calm and regulation amidst the external chaos-a sanctuary for your mind and body. Please believe in yourself and your ability to navigate this path. You are not alone in this journey, and the mindfulness practices you cultivate can become powerful tools to regulate your nervous system, bring balance to your emotions, and nurture hope even in difficult times. Trust that we all carry the capacity for transformation, individually and collectively. Take it one moment at a time. Be gentle with yourself. And know that you are seen, heard, and supported. @ thanks for your supportive reply. I completely accept the emotions though they still plague me. It’s more of the learning the “rules” by which bipoc are held to and privileges restricted to those in the supremacy. My therapist something along the lines of me feeling/thinking (?) special to have went through life thus far without having had run in with racism, but it struck me as odd as I definitely don’t have any special feelings around it and the knowledge I know now I can now understand situations through life that wasn’t because of some aspect of intelligence or capability but rather skin color. There’s a great nidra by north shore acupuncture on anger in relation to oppression Thanks again for the generous amount of space you’ve provided me. I deeply appreciate it!

I recently experienced the profound loss of my father, and in the wake of that loss, I’ve found myself drawn to share something deeply personal. And in the last days: 'hold on, wait a minute:yes I am' I love the acceptance of anger and the letting go of it. This is the first time I exoerience a nidra with opposites focussing on an emotion. I found it librating, feeling anger and peace at the same time. And I love your voice: it is soft, calm and slow in a very soothing way. I feel calm and peacefull, and the anger feels seen. Letting go of the emotions felt liberating and I love the richness of stillness at the end. Thank you for this guidance 🙏❤️🙏

When I would go into a deep depression, because my job etc was so Stressful, the Lord would tell as I was crying, GET UP!, Go for a brisk walk, it worked every time! Force yourself with everything you got, you’ll feel better! 💕
