    I commend you for your commitment to Rehab. Great job! You have come along way. As a therapist I can tell what it’s taken for you to get this for many many many hours I would encourage you to limit your risk taking because if you sprain an ankle, you will be set back for weeks, have you tried using weights on your ankles to provide more stability. With a toxic movements, the slower you go the more control you will have so awaited vest weights on leg weights on arms can often help the balance. Remember you’re trying to retrain the brain for quality of movement The fast you go the less control you will show and the slower you go the more control you’ll have and the better long-term outcomes you will show. Keep up the good work.🥳🥳

    Great Update man! Good to hear your doing well and keeping busy volunteering. I also roll my ankles and yes,it sucks. You could try the Aircast A60 ankle braces as that it is what I use occasionally, especially If I'm going to be on uneven terrain,they are light and comfortable.Just a thought. Take care.

    How long have you been training to achieve those scores? I have mine for 3 days and have not had the feeling of making a lot of progress in the game even tho I am using it every day and for at least 5x 15 minutes. Do you have any advice for me? Thank you in advance!

    • @JarredPayne
      @JarredPayne Год назад

      I am not sure what is recommended but I use it every other day one time for 10 minutes. It probably took a couple of months before my scores improved a lot. And consistency is important for me. If I miss a few days it takes me a while to get the scores back up. Again I don’t know whats recommended but that is what I do.

    Excellent jarred the form is looking good. Small steps in your progression matters, let your results compound off eachother. Get better 1% you will be 38 times better in a year.

    • @JarredPayne
      @JarredPayne Год назад

      Thank you! Good call. That’s part of the reason I enjoy making these videos. Hard to see the progress day to day but it is very clear when you look back a while

    • @sincityinfinity6255
      @sincityinfinity6255 Год назад

      What I meant to say is get 1% better everyday and you will be 38 times better in a year. I was thinking I typed that but I didn’t. It’s a symptom from my TBI that I have to adapt to. I forget simple things and it can cause some confusion. Like you I must get 1% better everyday.

    Hello friend, I notice my Mendi scores go way up after I do cardiovascular exercises, have you tried a rowing machine? It works many muscles and have no impact on your joints. Pumpkin seeds and almonds are great, following a keto diet is great for protecting your neurons and boost nuerogenises. Have you done any resistance training such as lifting weights or calisthenics (push ups, body weight squats)?

    • @JarredPayne
      @JarredPayne Год назад

      That makes sense to me! I do lift weights often. I have not rowed though. My cardio usually comes from the elliptical or the hand bike

    • @sincityinfinity6255
      @sincityinfinity6255 Год назад

      I can tell you’re lifting based on a video of you walking I watched after I watched this one….rowing is my favorite cardio but it’s neck and neck with swimming. I hope your life is getting better and better as time goes on.

    • @JarredPayne
      @JarredPayne Год назад

      Still working on it. I walk unassisted every time I have therapy but honestly using the cane is preferable for me when I’m out because it’s a signal to people to be patient with me. Walking unassisted was a big deal when my injury first happened and I am still sure it’s in my future (I’ve started occasionally having “normal” steps where I just go without thinking about it) but it’s not a huge rush now

    • @JarredPayne

      The only other big thing I’ve noticed is doing it consistently. If I miss a few sessions my performance suffers till I get back in a routine. For me, consistency and the proper nutrition seems the most helpful with this and my overall recovery

    Interesting ...I watch sugar a lot. Allow sugar and carbs with protein or before work out. But interesting it would affect brain. The thing with audio books on 1.5 speed is probably bc you have to pay more attention and be more focused already. I like Mendi it has helped me get more leveled. Do react more in a wise way. Know what it takes to get into that focus state. Thanks for sharing. From Switzerland
