Good advice on the shovel. That’s what I needed.
Is it still holding up? And what are the lengths of your 2x12?
Old man knew what he was talking about when he mentioned creating a draft up the flue with the torch. He’s a real one and its 100% how it works.
How do you have an instructional video and not actually show what you are doing with the brackets and hinges?
Maybe I've been told wrong. I was told concrete doesn't dry because of temperature but more of a chemical reaction. I'm assuming because of the extreme cold this might be the case. But I do agree with the previous comment. I would go am easier way.
That inner tie rod end that you decided not to remove is such a bitch. I can barely get at it but should have it out in the morning. No way i'll be able to get a torque wrench to torque the new one to spec though.
I have the 500 Rubicon mounted the same way and happy for sure. Nice job, good son there daddy
hello, my name is razvan and I live in Europe, I am interested in 4 bear furs larger in size, like between 200 and 300cm, could you get such sizes? and tell me if you send to Europe as well, thank you.
i can fufill your order you have to pay shipping to and what country?
DO YOU HAVE TO KEEP A DOOR OR SOMETHING OPEN SO YOU DONT GE BUILD UP CARBONMONOXIDE IN THE GARAGE
No, the garage isn't really air-tight in any way, there's lots of 'fresh-air' coming in around the garage doors.
Hey do you still have it? I think I'm about to buy this reel and plan to swap in my already purchased 50 feet Husky hybrid hose (unless this performs decent in cold).
Yes I still have it and it does still work...but by know means would I consider this a "professional" hose reel meant for a true garage operation. It is slower to wheel in now, and the "rollers" at the feed have broken, so you can't really grab the hose and walk to where you need it but instead pull out all the hose you need at the wheel itself and then go to your workspace. But still does the trick for when I need to use compressed air in my garage. If you do a lot of true garage work with compressed air, you'd need a professional reel from a supply store instead.
@@ryanaandreOk thanks I think I'll buy it then. I'm just a home DIYer and making my garage more user friendly. I use electric tools mainly, air is really more for air and tires. It does suck your rollers broke but oh well, I can't find anything else to buy... we don't have a lot of selection in Canada lol. I just have a home depot and Canadian tire here.
Blame Canada 🇨🇦
All that time and you didn’t put a trowel on it to finish it !!!😅😅😅😅
Yuk but bears be eating people too I guess 😅
How is it size wise? Big enough stove to heat your space? My garage is around the same size and I’m feeling out how big of a stove to get- my garage is like 650 square feet
I’ve had no issues in the coldest parts of winter in January and February getting the Garage warm enough to work in. I can usually heat it between 18 and 22 Celsius.
How did you move and position that wood stove?
Hey Ryan! Great video. What brand of camera are you filming with?
Nice, Hello from the Russia 👍
😅 your dogs are hilarious. Gun dogs are always tryin' ta help. I have a Weimaraner named Winchester. We call him "Winch" for short. How has your wheel alignment been? I bent mine, too, but pulled both ends out and straightened the rod myself. Reasonably close. I thought the set length would be important to alignment, so I put a witness line on the nut and threads and counted the threads and took a picture to make sure it went back on at the same length. Haven't test driven yet because I also bent the lower A-arm and I'm still waiting for the new one. Cheers, man. Love the dogs ✌️
Mine has held up well, but I’m sure my alignment is slightly off; mind you I only ATV around for hunting, no long distances, I’m sure I could realign it a bit better. I’ve got 3 Springers now, Browning, Winchester and Remington and yea they’re always trying to help! Hah!
what a useless video
Why didn’t you attach it to the leg of your work bench? It would be much Closer to your compressor less hose more pressure you could have used the hose that came with it
poor guy
you should pack it full of wood
You do know that concrete has air bubbles in it and they heat up and explode. Happened to me burning in a burn barrel on a concrete floor
Geez, that is a really bad bend. How fast were you going? Did you accidentally bump into something?
I used an edger when I put mine in at my old house. About to put it in again at my new house.
0:28 "Easy to wind back up", only for a short time. It eventually won't retract the last ~15' without manual assistance.
Did you ever connect a ground wire to it?
Dear me got this same kit on twisting wire for about a 10 ft section . I had one heck of a mess now my wire is a twisted mess spent 3 hours un twisting it . Couldn't rent a trencher ended up buying one to far any where that rents them. Need two poeple in my case to install.
Waste of time
Why?
Could you make a video on where the voltage regulator would be for that sled
You can see it to the left of his hand bolted onto the frame w/ 4 wires @5:00 right as he's removing the battery.
Man, that inner tie rod looked like it needed replacing. Not sure how tight they should be but that looked like it was going to fall apart. Did you align it? Supposed to be 3mm toe in.
I was thinking of trying this. My tire has tiny cracks on the side and air comes out slowly. I put an innertube in one of the tires..that was a job! I don't feel like doing that again so I'll try this. The wheel is off so I'll turn it sideways so the green stuff goes into the cracks. Of course this just delays the inevitable but my hands are sore from pulling the tire off the rim and back on. At least now I know it MAY work.
Wrong install. Go in the small hole and out the large hole on the spool then back in the large hole and wedge the little metal "puck" flat end against the spool in that loop. Make sure rope comes out under the spool like he has done otherwise the brake won't work. Also manually turn spool at least one layer of rope keeping it together to prevent the rope from becoming wedged into the underlayment of line creating a tangle. This is done easier by removing the winch and partially bringing it out to the side to gain better access, which entails removing more cowling.
That crotch surplus is the nicest one I ever seen, but why is it? I really wanted to be a belt drive, but why is it not really about drive?
I know that a video is a lengthy and tiring job and I appreciate your effort to put it together. However your video does not show anything important like how you framed the opening, how you attached different number hinges on the door and so on. This is a casual video of you cleaning your shed and turning it to a garage. No educational value at all. Sorry for being harsh.
@21:14 why women live longer then men... throw the rule book at OSHA LOL
Im looking to install one in my garage and this was a great video on the install. Thanks Ryan.....
Great video. Any video with a dog in it is always worth watching.
Beautiful property
Very awesome!
You have your stove pipe running the wrong way , it’s going to leak cerosote 😢
My son has two dogs and has had the invisible fence and same collars for going on six years. Both times the line was cut, I fixed them with wire and shrink tubing. It was a different brand of fence and collars though.
over loaded it and the pipe is screwed for cleaning
Great video! Nice chimney install. Really like your dogs. One is very curious and the other is just happy go lucky. Great video 🙂
I had a different style base on my Kolpin case (slide in mount design)., loved it. Bought a new quad, got the gun case you show here… hate it. Gun rattles all over the place, one of the hand tight bolts rattled loose, lost it of course, just crap design. Went on FB market place found another kolpin with the slide in design, never looked back. I like your video, just don’t like the gun case mount design. Nice vid, though! 😊
Its amazing.
What store did you get your kit? Thanks
It’s a Canadian hardware store called Home Hardware, they seem to sell everything Selkirk for Woodstoves.
Was the kit very expensive? Like 800
@@danielkushla2383 they’re now $660, I’m fairly certain they were $450 back in 2019. It was a good kit and pretty easy to install.
Love how your dogs were making sure you didn’t screw anything up
Does every stove need the brick inside? I have a potbelly and was told it was not needed
I don’t think they all need them…some are designed for them, some are a simpler design without.
What store did you buy the Selkirk stuff from? I went to Menards and their selection was dismal
In Canada, Home Hardware, a local chain of home improvement stores stock Selkirk wood stove parts and pieces. They have an excellent selection (and seem to be the only ones in Canada). Home Depot also has Selkirk, but a different style that isn’t compatible with this style.
