A EZ-SET Torsion conversion kit is available. which retails for $129 depending on the size. This is the kit required if you dont want the springs. Im guessing they just make more money selling them separately because about 2 years ago they were included.

This video of new doors is done in warp speed. The doors I got did not come with instructions and I would have liked to see the installation in regular speed. Not really a help.
I know that a video is a lengthy and tiring job and I appreciate your effort to put it together. However your video does not show anything important like how you framed the opening, how you attached different number hinges on the door and so on. This is a casual video of you cleaning your shed and turning it to a garage. No educational value at all. Sorry for being harsh.

How do you have an instructional video and not actually show what you are doing with the brackets and hinges?
I think if you get the medallion hardware upgrade I think you get torsion with it not 100% sure

What size does the opening need to be?
depends on the door but usually three inches bigger than the door itself if your framing a new opening.
