Booker’s doesn’t sit on shelves here long enough for stores (other than “museums”) to have multiple batches in stock. I love Booker’s but that MSRP keeps rising

I wasn’t a fan of the regular Green River bourbon it was just okay at best for me. I won’t be buying another one. I will be trying their other bottles cause you can’t beat the price. Would the proof help the bourbon one can only hope. But I certainly wasn’t sure about the hype on this brand when I first tried it. Again this doesn’t really seem to hit the hype but others seem to be pushing it??

I’m in Bardstown, right now. I just grabbed a Buzzards Roost SiB toasted rye with the 2023 Kentucky Bourbon fest sticker. I saw it and thought of your video from last year. Hopefully it’s as good as the one you found!

Green River & Bardstown are absolutely killing it rn. They are going toe to toe with the legacy distillers.

I have one. It's not bad ,but I wouldn't buy it again. I do like their wheated Bourbon and I'm curious how it would taste at a higher proof. A oak spiral might help the palate on the full proof. Solid review,cheers.

I had a New Riff single barrel that was amazingly good. Got a NR Single Barrel store pick as a gift and it was not nearly as good.

I'm on the lookout for a new lower proof after work pour (not barrel proof), any suggestions?

My local store got a barrel pick from them and it’s fantastic. Lot of carmel and traditional bourbon flavors but it’s bright and has an almost blackberry cobbler finish

I have an excellent 1792 fp pick and a Woodford Reserve d.o. pick, and my favorite and final pick is JDsibbp rye.

It’s kinda like if bourbon and whiskey had a baby in Tennessee, with a little bit more of the whiskey’s genes.

I might have paid $128 for a four roses store pic a couple weeks ago. My best store pic ever, don’t blast me here, Weller Full Proof from a store that would NOT appear to have anything worth buying from the parking lot!!

Nice review! Sounds good! My really WOW batches would be Country Ham, Pinky’s , and Charlie’s batches! I’m always a buyer of Booker’s! My store owner friend lets me have them for 72.00! Cheers!
