Man, we don't even know if Yellow Guy is a guy. Nowhere in Later That Night is Yellow Guy referred to with male pronouns (as far as I'm aware). For all we know, Yellow "Guy" could be Mrs. Afton, and this was supposed to be some cryptic way of giving that non-character of a character some character. This minigame is wild.

4:20 I'd argue that Foxy Go Go Go could have meaning as answering which animatronic did the Bite of '87 and we just never picked up on it. It confirms Foxy saw the DCI (MCI wouldn't make sense since he wasn't possessed then) and the man who did it, so like. If any of the animatronics were going to bite a guard because they thought it was William, it was Foxy. Then The Week Before semi-confirmed it with that line implying Foxy might've bitten someone. But yeah tl;dr: DCI happens -> Foxy specifically is shown to have seen both the corpses and the killer -> "now none of them are acting right" -> a guy gets bit -> boy I wonder who bit that guy, could it have been the animatronic who saw a staff member kill kids?

I always thought that Midnight Motorist was intended to be a very simple minigame. Like, we can all agree that Fruity Maze is the first MCI kid. We've all agreed that Security Puppet is Charlie's death, and MOST of us can agree that Later That Night takes place right after Charlie's death, although that's not confirmed. Fnaf 6 is all about tying up loose ends, and ever since that game, the only direct mention of Midnight Motorist we've ever gotten was in FLaF, with the purple car and the Spring Bonnie antenna. So my reasoning was always that Midnight Motorist HAD to be as simple as everything else was in Fnaf 6. If we put all the minigames in Fnaf 6 together, they tell the story of William slowly descending into madness and becoming a killer, and make us the "lorekeeper" (potentially Scott telling us that understanding William is the key?). But I've always been confused as to how MM feeds into that lore. I believe William is the driver, Jr's is Fredbear's turned into a bar, the house is the Afton house, the runaway is Micheal, the dirt mound is CC's grave, the three-toed footprints are Micheal's hallucinations of Fredbear. I think that explanation makes the most sense overall. The only thing I have a controversial opinion about is where Micheal ran off to, but I'm not putting all that in here. What I don't udnerstand is what it's all supposed to tell us. About William, or about any of the lore in general. My best guess is that it's giving us context about William's relationship with Micheal.

I’m open to all theories and I hear people out but I think Green afton theory is absurd. Just no. Nope. It’s clearly Edwin Murray. He made the mimic. It was difficult to put the pieces together. Ok ok jokes aside I do disagree with that theory. Mustard man William Afton makes the best sense and most sense.

Now that I think about it… If you believe (like me) that Henry coded the FFPS games and Mike is the one playing them, really kinda fucked up of Henry to make a game about how Mike’s dad used to get drunk and then come home to beat the shit out of him. I really feel like the Mustard Man isn’t William Afton. My personal theory it’s the father of Cassidy. We see footprints from a suit and I think it was William kidnapping Cassidy. If Mustard Man is William Afton then why would he kidnap his own kid and act like he would come back? Also the house isn’t like William’s house from fnaf 4 unless William has 2 houses. Which would be weird.

4:15 Foxy GoGoGo! showed us that the purple guy was behind the MCI, which we didn't know beforehand. You might argue that Save Them shows us this, but that's most likely a separate event, because if they're supposed to show the same event then Foxy GoGoGo! becomes a more redundant retelling of the same event. Also, I feel like the fact that we exit the minigame on the fourth lap to get into the second part is significant. Perhaps it ties it into FNAF 4, which shows a house on a hill that is reminiscent of the one we see in midnight motorist?

4:27 foxy's go go go goal was to seperate mci from dci. If this minigame wasnt there people would think save them is showing the mci so go go go has a goal even if it doesnt introduce new stuff. However thats not to say all minigames are that important, in fnaf 6 there is fruity maze which shows us how susie died but thats not really needed to the story

Hmm I do understand Henry being couch person but it always rubbed me the wrong way that Henry would just like leave his child unattended at one of his restaurants while watching Afton’s kid Like I would say that “oh he knew Afton was gonna be at the restaurant” but like in the take cake minigame William like, just pulls up to the restaurant, so I’m not too sure

Okay Withered, I'm not gonna lie, the fact that this newest version of Into the Pit literally ties in the original games lore fine with 5 kids and it being part of a book series that has clear canon and continuity connections really feels like RTTP is the true version of events. There's no real argument to say that it isn't since it fits well, when both the game version make references to the movie and the novels (which...obviously no), and so much of Frights or even stitchline requires back bending head canons or "errors" that happened when no one who wrote these books has said such a thing. I think Occam's razor wins this time mate'. Sorry. Also, saying something is too weird to be in the games is just so lame of a reason. Yeah, a business man who made murder clowns to kidnap and kill kids is totally normal. Oh, and let's not forget that those same murder clowns fused together to get inside a human body to roam around the outside without being caught. TOTALLY NORMAL!

I think what happened with midnight motorist is actually simple, it's later that night, the night where William became evil and committed his first murder. William was drinking because he's embarassed that his son died, and he was so drunk he accidentally ran someone over, David Murray. William panicked and buried the body while Edwin wasnt looking. However, David's agony started to inhabit Williams car, turning it into an oven of evil thoughts of malice, and William definitely cooked. David Murray, true antagonist of fnaf, whose agony inhabited williams car, put several thoughts into williams head, "I have GOT to kill Charlie, I have GOT to go into the bar, Jr.s, and get more alcohol, I have GOT to go home and beat Michael," etc. Michael saw what he thought was fredbear pop up outside his window, but when he looked closer, it was actually the mimic inside of a tiger rock suit. Michael always believed none of the books were canon, so he shattered his own window out of frustration, grabbed a baseball bat, and set off on one mission, to destroy the mimic once and for all
