6:39 How does the meta-stability of the spring prawl work? I am trouble shooting my print right now, I can't seem to get it to work quite right E: figured it out. The prawl is held in an actually magnetically unfavorable position by the spring loaded tooth of the racket. When the inner wheel relieves that pressure, the tooth snaps to a magnetically stable position which disengages the prawl until the inner wheel has rotated about 90 degrees. When rotating 90degrees, there is a pack of magnets which is glued in which will overcome the magnetic stability which keeps the prawl disengaged. The magnet pack has to be glued at exactly the right place on the mounting ring, or it will be mistimed, and if it misses the tooth, it will simply snap back to the magnetically stable position which is out of the way of the teeth of the rachet.

For the weight optimization, how should they be balanced? From the video It looks like both the front and back assembly is balanced so weight is heavier on one side?

Hi, I like every Kinetic Sculpture you made from 3D Printing 💯 Since you use Constant Force Spring, it perform better. I would like to ask, does the force spring can be replaced by another spring? I can't find that misumi force spring in my country, besides I can't afford through international shipping due to tax matter. Can you please give me some details of the width, diameter, and length of the force spring? So that I can use that as the reference.

The print orientation on the arms of the glasses could've been optimized by laying it flat. Stronger part and cleaner look. Really nice glasses though

Fantastic project. I made one but, in my case, in the "rear_subRing" piece, I had to position the magnet against the screw but on the other side, closer to the rear_pawl.
