Thanks for the video.. I just bought one of these down in Miami with 6000 mi on it.. I drove it all night to get back to Citrus county Florida.. in the rain dodging thunderstorms July 2, 2024.. because I got four bikes in the garage I let this one sit for a few months.. I took it out the other day and the rear brake zero pressure, no lakes are dripping but the reservoir looks close to empty. so I got to go ahead and add fluid and bleed It.. it does well, even without the rear brake around the neighborhood.. but that's one of my tasks.. I absolutely love this bike too.. it's the replacement for my 1984 CB650 nighthawk.. which is become a project bike.. that's actually my fifth motorcycle the CB650 nighthawk.. I'm probably going to have to clean the carbs again in that bike🙀 I also got two Harleys in another Honda besides this 919, 2007 hornet.. so far I absolutely love it.. mine's flawless too.. thanks for the video

Great video thank you very much. I just bought one of these 2007 CB 919, down in Miami.. it had less than 6,000 mi on it looks brand new. Looks like mine is pure stock. 😻 I'm still looking for an owner's manual if anybody knows where I can get one for a 2007 919. Also looking for a repair manual to have on hand. Mine is the same color that beautiful candy red. Bought mine July 2nd 2024 drove 8 hours home at night some of that was in the rain..

Beautiful colour - Candy Apple... and as I am a little late to the party, there is alot of potential to make this ride beautiful and more road worthy. Hopefully you campaign it (as I do with my 2 CB900F-5s).... but that colour is beautiful - shame the Candy Apple colour was never used in UK/EU at the time. It's been 4 years since you introduced her, anything new since?

Nice Z, love mine, I'm waiting on some hail damage to be repaired to install a Z1 intake and cat back exhaust. The 350z was my dream car when I was young, the 370z is just such a beautiful car.

I have a 2019 identical stock, Sport Z, that has a backup camera . I put Continental tires on from Tire Rack. Great bang for the buck! Enjoy. 😊

Got new Delk exhaust for mine and plan to swap to it soon. I like how the stock exhaust looks and I thought long and hard about cutting the baffles out. Problem is that the tip is a weird diameter so finding silencer inserts that would just install out of the box is not really a thing so Ill keep the oem around and try out the delks with the silencer inserts in first, might try them later with the inserts out. Dont want it super loud, it just is that the stockers are litterally whisper quiet, but the induction growl on these is pretty sweet when you go full send and it snarls its so good. <3 I was going to have the bike tuned anyway to help the snatchy throttle out because I really notice that going over slow bumps and in roundabouts, and hey if exhaust and tune can net me 5-10 horses too I wont complain. bike is pretty frisky as is and theyre a joy to ride and I'd say pretty darn quick. absolutely Lovely bikes. And theyre easy to modernise and tidy up. theyre really timeless looking, kind of semi classic modern bike. Tail tidy and new LED lights all around, mirrors, levers and little bits like that and its basically passable as a new-ish bike, theyre clean and modern with a hint of some classic sensibilities in a modern way and stylings like bucket light and analogue instruments 919's are lovely, fun, well rounded, gorgeus, just great bikes. Thanks for sharing yours.

You should just get the black levers and get the gold renthal (thicker bars it will help with vibration) it also matches the gold on the bike. Love these bikes, it was my first.

Do your clothes also stink a lot like gas fumes after the ride?

A little late to the part... but.. Yup, great bike - that's why I got 2 of them - but twins are expensive to bring up together! That being said, I'd overhaul the forks, complete clean w/new seals and oil. Also, same goes with the DOT4. Even though you say the rear indicators are brighter than the camera shows, I'd consider separate indicators in conjuntion with an integrated rear light - just my 2cents worth here. You got a nice bike. Nimble, powerful, easy to maintain (pls consider a centerstand!) and a very proud looking machine. PS.... if you're considering the indicator "upgrade", you'd might enjoy the Oberon Performance Mini LEDs (silver for front, black for the rear) Safe trails

I just bought a 2003 about 3 weeks ago. With only 22,250 miles on it. I had new Pirelli tires installed along with some simple suspension adjustments and it does everything right.

If I can get one with 25000 miles will it last ne a good while? They seem very strong and promising just trying to upgrade

What fender illuminator kit did you use for your license plate?

I have had a 2006 for about 11 years now. My first bike. It is so good, I will never get rid of it. I own it free and clear, and have put about 16-17000 miles on it.

These bikes are still cool looking. I do prefer the squared off tail on the CB400SF, but that's just a minor thing.

How did your body do with the 30-35 mph slide? Had gear on?

Yeah those levers have to go. What kind of a monster puts orange anodized levers on a red motorcycle? Could there be two colors that don't match as much as orange and red? Maybe pink and red would be worse, that's it.

I can't stand those aftermarket Corbin seats. See how cupped the seat shape is? It's like sitting in a tight little soup bowl that your hip bones are locked into. It's like you're vacuum-sucked in place. Think Darth Vader's helmet ;) I much prefer the stock, flat, wide Honda seats. With the stock seats you can move around forward-to-back for comfort purposes, you can move side-to-side for cornering purposes, and ventilation of your butt skin is better too.

I'm looking hard at one of these. '07 is the year to get because the earlier ones have forks with no adjustability. They upgraded the forks in '07 (or '06?). If you actually turn corners the main mods should be getting the forks and shock rebuilt with aftermarket valves and correct springs, like Racetech or Traxxion. The ride will be much smoother and your tires will stay planted into the ground when you turn, it completely transforms a bike. I'd spend the money on that before a $600 seat or something.
