Is this system obnoxiously loud? I'm trying to convince my parents to let me put on of these on my '09 Legacy 2.5i Special Edition. I want a nice roar with pops out of the back, but not obnoxiously loud
Do you have a part number or reference to a website where you got this???? I'm looking to put one on my 2.5i as well, I can' t seem to find this information ANYWHERE please help!
My 2005 wagon is a California emissions car too, does yours have separate exhaust manifolds that don't come together until right around where the back seat is?
So I think the muffler delete would be too loud so it's between the 4 inch or 5 inch. Which one should I get. I want something with a nice roar that's worth 400 bucks. I'm worried that if I get the 5 inch, it will sound close Ish to stock
Chris A I have never heard the 4”. The 5” is like a 5 or 6 on a scale from 1-10. It sounds good, but it’s not loud or raspy, just a good deep throaty note.
@@nickhrt83 all of you are on something. Girlfriend had an axle back on her 2.5i NA and there was no drone at all, and it was only "loud" when you stepped on the gas pedal. even then by no means was it loud. If you want loud, delete the resonator. Fully delete it. The video on my channel is without a resonator. It could easily be one of the loudest subies you'll ever here
Unfortunately, you aren't going to get that without a turbocharged car. Another thing is that the "boxer rumble" only exists because Subaru cheaped out on headers from the factory.
Well, if your looking for performance, get a GT. Whether or not its worth $500 depends on your budget. As far as performance goes, its way lighter than stock and less restrictive. Like with many exhausts, they don't do a whole lot unless you have other supporting mods and a tune. Also, the LGT catback exhausts dont bolt right up to a 2.5i, so you are stuck buying an axleback or making your own (or modifying an LGT exhaust). This was just to have a sound clip online for anyone who is contemplating this exhaust on a 2.5i...just trying to be helpful. Also, we plan on upgrading to a LGT next year...the 2.5i is sluggish and ours is a CA emissions car so modding it is a pain...

Namelessperformance.com. The GT and 2.5i axle backs are the same.
+Ben R Awesome! Thank You!!!!!

Nick Tarvis I don’t know and I don’t have this car anymore.
Is there any highway drone?! I might get this for my '05 LGT Wagon
did you end up getting it
@@Untitled_RR there's zero drone.
do you have a link for this set up? and do you have unequal length headers? thank you in advance

Chris A I liked the 5” sound. It gave it a nice throaty sound without being obnoxious.
Ben's 350z is the 4 inch less deep? And on a 1 to 10 scale. 1 being the stock subaru and 10 being a muffler delete, what would you put the 5 inch at

Go with the muffler delete man.. And throw some e bay headers it will sound so good
How loud would you say is it?? Thinking of getting the muffler deletes
I liked the sound. Muffler deletes would be way too loud/drone on the highway.
George Parker don't do it it's to loud

do you have uel headers or stock headers?
Stock exhaust up to the axleback.
+Ben R thanks. just ordered mine. putting on my headers to lol.
This is an N/A correct? Looking to get an exhaust for my 09 n/a that will still give me that well known Subaru rumble. 😁
Well you can't with just a muffler. You need UEL

muffler delete , 4 in. , 5in. ????
Read description.
I about to get one of these Subaru's, gotta make it loud tho
Is it really worth half a grand? I'm debating, because it does nothing performance-wise.

Thanks for the info, bro. I'm gonna go to college and buy a WRX after I graduate, or better ;)
