Mine is an '07 as well. Mostly stock on mine except Corbin Seat and 2 Brothers. I like those turn front signals and the idea of the tail light. Very Nice! I have had mine for 11 years now.
Nice bike, i bought a 2002 with 66.000 km, it still runs great! Just some minor stuff to be done on it and she'll be ready for action again. Such an amazing motorcycle.
I've same bike, but suffering from stinky smell from exhaust... I think I need PC3 or smthn... I've heard I can use resistor in IAT sensor connector, but have no idea how to make it right :D Maybe you had similar problem with this bike?
I just bought a 2007 CB900F in same color. I love this bike! I bought some Trex frame sliders and National Cycle F-16 windshield. Windshield works great for hwy use. Takes the wind blast off the chest and it’s more at my head now. I’m 6’-5”. The stock seat is adequate but I am considering a Corbin seat upgrade like yours. My stock headlight sucks, so i will be upgrading it to LED soon. Great video. No regrets buying my 919. Such a fun bike.
You should just get the black levers and get the gold renthal (thicker bars it will help with vibration) it also matches the gold on the bike. Love these bikes, it was my first.
Beautiful colour - Candy Apple... and as I am a little late to the party, there is alot of potential to make this ride beautiful and more road worthy. Hopefully you campaign it (as I do with my 2 CB900F-5s).... but that colour is beautiful - shame the Candy Apple colour was never used in UK/EU at the time. It's been 4 years since you introduced her, anything new since?
I bought a 2006 Honda 919 in da first week of 2021. Riding my lava Honda 919 since Jan. of 2021 and I F$%@!? luv it. Comfortable, fast and agile. Cut corners like a hot katana thru butter.
Hit a deer on my 91 750 a few months back. Sliders helped a little but it go even more scratched up on the side. It wasn't so bad that I couldn't get it fixed, but the insurance company wanted to total it and send me a check. I did it so I could buy one of these 😬 Don't tell my mom lol, she loaned the money for my Nighthawk a long time ago and told me never to sell it 🤫
This man wanted a more comfortable bike for riding two up, bought the 919, his wife left him and he said “Well screw you I’m getting a solo-seat”. Lmaooo
Great video thank you very much. I just bought one of these 2007 CB 919, down in Miami.. it had less than 6,000 mi on it looks brand new. Looks like mine is pure stock. 😻 I'm still looking for an owner's manual if anybody knows where I can get one for a 2007 919. Also looking for a repair manual to have on hand. Mine is the same color that beautiful candy red. Bought mine July 2nd 2024 drove 8 hours home at night some of that was in the rain..
Just bought a 2004 Honda Hornet 600 with only 9,700 miles, bone stock except engine guards and Honda oem short windscreen, got an Delkevic Exhaust for it but just waiting to put it on next week 👌🏾
I've wanted a 919 when I was interested in buying my first bike. I ended up with a well kept 1986 VFR750. I'm glad I did. I've had a VFR since. Reasons? The standard seat position, the single sided swing arm and a 5 gallon fuel tank. It doesn't have the 0-60 speed of Honda RR or the 919 but it's a pleasure to ride. My current ride is a silver 2008 VFR800. I bought it as new unsold stock in 2010. It was still in the original shipping crate. They sold for $10,999 and I paid $7300 for it. I don't ride it much, about 500 miles a year and its bone stock. I dont like blowing cash on unnecessary upgrades or accessories. Mods give barely noticeable increases in performance. So why bother?
Dps6198 so you've had it for 14 years (2024). 500 mi per year, you put 7,000 miles on it. You bought it for $7,300 plus taxes and fees, and JD Powers says the average retail is $4,675. Not counting your taxes and fees and other actual property taxes and such The bike only lost $2,625! So you only lost 37.5 cents per mile in value. Not bad.
I too had a VFR 750, a 92 in red with white wheels. I absolutely loved it and did all manner of modifications including color matched GIVI bags and trunk! It was a very well balanced motorcycle, but it was complex, expensive to work on, and heavy for its power and size. I hate to have to tell the VFR lovers out there, my Bandit 1200 S ate its lunch, and walked away from it in a straight line, or on Skyline. Then I got the hornet 919 and it had The performance and handling that the others didn't and more comfortable as well. I still have the hornet, It's the best of the three. But why bother telling you?
Yeah those levers have to go. What kind of a monster puts orange anodized levers on a red motorcycle? Could there be two colors that don't match as much as orange and red? Maybe pink and red would be worse, that's it.
Thanks for posting. I am having fits trying to buy the proper center stand for my 2007 Honda 919. Any ideas where I may obtain a used or new one? I live in northern California.
I'm looking hard at one of these. '07 is the year to get because the earlier ones have forks with no adjustability. They upgraded the forks in '07 (or '06?). If you actually turn corners the main mods should be getting the forks and shock rebuilt with aftermarket valves and correct springs, like Racetech or Traxxion. The ride will be much smoother and your tires will stay planted into the ground when you turn, it completely transforms a bike. I'd spend the money on that before a $600 seat or something.
2005 in UK when they upgraded the front fork suspension. Only preload and damping though, no compression damping. Matris make a cartridge kit for these forks. Nitron is the rear shock I have.
He said you have to call them and ask for solo seat or whatever. They don't list it on Corbin site anymore but they will still make the solo for you. It's a nice seat. When I have extra 600 bucks it's on the "to-do" list for sure.
My 03 has 42000 miles, been wrecked twice and still going strong. Vastly underrated bikes.
Mine is an '07 as well. Mostly stock on mine except Corbin Seat and 2 Brothers.

The best 919 I’ve seen so far

You made this bike look even more amazing! I got a 2007 myself.

What is the price to buy it
@@محمدشهاب-ن8ف picked one up for 3 as of 5/22/22
Is this bike different than a cb900f?
Fantastic bike mate
Get some s/s braided brake lines - you'll love it even more!
:-)
What do the braided brake lines do ?
Braided lines offer much more resistance when the brakes are applied. Makes the brakes work better.
She's a beauty, nice walk around video and description of parts. I ride an 07 919, bought in 2017 with 11k and now at 25k.
How dare you not do a exhaust sound test
Subscribed. Tastefully modified . Well done . I have a 03 919. Got some ideas for my upgrades from your video. Thnx. Ride safe~
She looks so good !
