Great job boys!! Jessie your father of the year!!🐟🐠🎣
Greatly appreciate it! 🤘❤️🤘 thanks for watching!
if this is lake john. which it looks like. my favorite place to drive the truck out on and catch some good ones
Yup your are spot on. Place is one of my favorites to go when im visiting Colorado for Christmas. Some real nice fish in there! Thanks for watching!
@ check out north and south Delaney next time. The kids could catch some massive trout. Last winter and summer we pulled out multiple cutbows and brown trout well over 25”!!
@ greatly appreciate the info next time im up during season I’ll definitely check it out. Always up to try some new spots! Hope ya have a great ice fishing season!
Great vid jay love father son time kids looked like they had fun then went home fell asleep
Greatly appreciate it! It was an absolute blast! We were exhausted after this trip lol. Thank you so much for commenting and watching!
I think I seen you out there that day !! December 21 I brought my nephew who moved from California we caught some nice ones as well you were on the south side ! We drove around your camp to the Dam area
Ha yup that was most definitely me , thats the day we went out there. They were on fire that day! Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching! Tight lines!
Great video!!
Thanks buddy much appreciated! Thanks for watching!
Andrew hit the honey hole thats for sure!!🎣
He sure did!!
I just happen to have a couple of rabbits to try this recipe on!
Heck yeah let me know how it turns out for ya! Don’t forget that slap ya mama seasoning. It definitely makes it!
I'd replace the celery with stewed tomatoes.
O yeah i bet that would be great as well! Bet some rice would be awesome too.
Im 62 and was born in Southeast Illinois ( 62205) we used to hunt with regular dogs and sticks. The neighbors couldn't believe that we could catch that many rabbits without guns and hounds.
Ha thats so awesome, would have loved to see you in action. Very cool! When there is a will there is a way 😁 thanks for the story and thanks for watching!
Nice video 🔥
Much appreciated! Thanks for watching! 🤘
need to get some isnt really an option pretty sure they dont sell that on this side of the world what spices are in the seasoning so i can manually recreate
I found this on google. Hope this helps. If you try it let me know how it turns out for ya! Its great on everything. What side of the world you from? copy cat of Slap Ya Mama Cajun seasoning: 1 tablespoon smoked paprika 1 tablespoon seasoning salt 1½ teaspoons onion powder 1½ teaspoons garlic powder 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon black pepper, coarse ground 1 teaspoon oregano 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
After 4 hours, there's nothing left to those vegetables.
After 4 hours it turns into deliciousness 😜 lol but yes the veggies do cook down and are very soft but thats what makes it so good. It just kinda melts all the flavors together. You could always throw in the veggies later on in the cook if you like them a little more put together. Thanks for watching.
Got my squirrel stew on for lunch!
Yum!!!!
Jay, why ain’t you got the kids buckled up in the truck?
Yeah… 😬 I noticed that too when editing… my wife got on to me lol looked like my boy put the shoulder strap behind his back. But when we were on the private land doing 3mph I didn’t make them wear it. We were driving at a snails pace with no chance of a car hitting us lol. Thanks for watching!
Gotcha brother and I understand! I enjoy your videos and can’t wait to have these adventures with my own son. Happy new years to you all 🎉
Happy new years to you as well. Thank you so much for watching. Hope you and your kid’s adventures are great! Making memories with your kids is the best feeling in the world!
Now we talking
🤘
love the carabiner idea...I would suggest a tie down strap instead of cordage...no knots needed if you have cold fingers.
For sure! Love the idea. Thanks for watching!
Very nice. Always wanted to hunt down south. Always get too caught up in deer season up here in the north. No where you can camp and hunt though. Good video 👍
Much appreciated thanks for watching! I got lucky enough to have a buddy that bought some acreage lol. But i do know the Shawnee National Forest has dispersed camping and hunting. I think that may be an upcoming video its a beautiful place from what i can remember. Hope ya have a great hunting season!
The HVAC man is right down do it right you need a scale and curved needle nose and pull up on the presher relief valve I was a propane man for 5 years
Probably safe to refill a few times if the canister is relatively new but I’ve seen many examples of significant rust build up inside the disposable 1lb propane canisters. If anyone is going to do this, do some research.
Yes i would agree there are some risks to it thats for sure. Noticed some rust buildup on some and I discarded them. But it does work very well if done safely. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching
I tried it before, but just couldn’t get enough to make it with it. I instead bought a Coleman Christmas tree. The tree attaches to the 20lb tank, on the very top, you screw on your Coleman propane lantern, on the sides of the tree there are a couple additional ports where you can run hoses from the tree out to your stove, or heater.
Ahh bet that works great. I do like the green ones to save on space and weight. Thanks for watching
I had an extra pound of deer burger thawed out so I tried a scaled down version of this recipe. It’s good, but it was a little bland. If you want to try a phenomenal recipe similar to this which is my go to for the past 10 years, google Doc’s best jerky recipe. You won’t be disappointed..
Sorry this recipe turned out bland for you. I did notice if i dont put much spice or seasoning in it it is bland i kinda have to put a lot of spice into it to give it that desired kick. But once i do that its delicious. I’ll definitely have to check out that Docs. Always up for something new I appreciate it. Thanks for watching!
You are not purging air. You're expelling propane. I am a HVAC Technician and worked for a propane company for years.
He is purging out the vapor propane
Yeah i miss spoke on the video I believe its vaporized propane am I correct in saying that? Im definitely no expert by any means. I just know the process has worked well for me lol.
Put it over rice brother
Ahh yes i bet that would be amazing! Thanks for the idea and thanks for watching!
Been thinking of doing the same, good video. Glad it passed the taste test!
Definitely urge ya to try it! Let me know how it turns out for ya. I would suggest maybe making one or 2 with no fat just to see how it tastes straight. Wish i would have. Thanks for watching!
That looked like a great time
It was an absolute blast thanks for watching! 🤘
What part of southern Illinois? We’re over here in white county. Great video!
Much appreciated! This was down by St.Francisville. Thanks for watching! 😁🤘
SLAP ya momma my wife had never had this seasoning until she met me :D now we use it almost all the time! i also found a brand called camo they make a game season its very good!
Brang some toilet paper? Do people dig a hole or something? No clue what people do🤷🏽♂️
😂😂😂 yeah we just bring TP with us find a good log to prop up against and let nature do its thing lol. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment. It gave me a good laugh 😁
I guarantee these will probably help some older hunters with mobility issues! Great idea! :D
Was your meat straight venison? Or a mix? Thanks
I'm not him, but i did do a blend of pork in mine this year and we noticed it had a lot more moisture content then just straight venison. next deer will be just straight venison
Sorry for the delayed response. Im not 💯 sure because the meat was given to me but I believe there was some fat mixed in with it. It still turned out good however the way i did it i needs to be in the freezer or refrigerated i don’t like mine totally dried out, hard on my teeth lol. Hope this helps out some. Thanks for watching.
😂😂😂😂 the things that city boys will buy. WTF😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Oh ... I was confused at first but then after i seen how It worked i was DUH! Me and my wife have something just like that on our headboard 😂
My goodness 😂😂😂😂
Ok squirrels and rabbits fur are very different! Rabbits you can just pull the hair off like you pluck a turkey it comes right off easy but squirrels are like deer you got to have a knife 😂
Ha 💯 I was very quick to find this out. Hair/skin literally just falls off. Its kinda wild. Thanks so much for watching and the comment 😁🤘
1:47 whelp that’s all I needed to see. Onto another video. Respect the land 😒
Yup total oversight on my part, always pride myself of leaving the land better than when i came…dropped the ball this time..we all make mistakes and i own it.
@ ok ok my bad you right. Don’t let it happen again 😆 not many people these days own up to things. I respect that a lot. Apologies for the mean comment myself.
😮❤ greatest vibes ever and job respect from 205 pisces black alpha Male Birmingham Alabama home of the civil rights movement
Much appreciated thanks for watching! 😁
😋😋😋😋😋😋
AMAZING VIDEO BROTHER GOTTA LOVE THE WILD LIFE.
Greatly appreciate it man! Thank you so much for watching!
Nice just round jerky instead of flat
Awesome man!
That looks amazing
Thats looks easy enough to do.
i love fried cottontail. 💪
Good stuff!!
Pretty badass video! Question: do you run your buddy heater in the tent? I'll put in my sub before I forget
@@R0NE100 much appreciated! Yeah it was a little much for that small tent tho but I run a buddy heater all the time in my tents with no problem works phenomenal. I subbed to your channel as well. Thank you so much for watching and welcome to my channel 😁🤘
@JayPeaOutdoors I asked because I've done froze my toosh off many times here in Missouri because of not knowing if it's safe to do so, I mean, I got heavy sleeping bags and all that, but man I bet it gets toasty with the buddy heater on!
@JayPeaOutdoors my videos are directed to the Brazilian audience so most of my videos are narrated in Portuguese, but I live in Missouri
@@R0NE100 o yeah, now i will say the buddy heater has a low co2 shut off sensor built in but i like to get a co2 sensor off amazon and have it in the tent with me as back up just in case. But as long as you got a little window cracked or a little air movement it is 💯 safe. And it’s super cozy. I have camped in 7 degree weather with a buddy heater in a tent it is a total game changer lol. Highly suggest it!
@@JayPeaOutdoors good tip! I'll look up that sensor 👍🏽
Nice. Thanks for the vid
Absolutely thanks for watching!
nothing like enjoying the outdoors and throwing your empties on the ground
Yeah definitely paying the price for that one in the comments…definitely dropped the ball on that. Appreciate everyone bringing it to my attention. Thanks for watching!
Love the videos! We subscribed, we are also likely close by. We are Madison County IL! Keep posting cool stuff!
O very cool! Greatly appreciate it, I subscribed as well. Looking forward to checking out all your videos. This video was shot near st Francisville area but im from central Illinois (Peoria area) if your familiar with that. i got a lot of good ideas in store for this channel stay tuned 😁🤘 thanks so much for watching.
Got mine today! Thanks Al and Jay Pea!
You bet buddy! Thanks for everything!
How is this any better than the wire ones that have been around since 1960s?
Im not sure if i have ever seen the wire ones but i do know they make mountable ones you have to drill in the side of a tree or plank of wood. I really like this concept because its super simple and portable.
Nice big buddy/ cooker hack.
I’m originally from So-Ill. What part you from?
I shot this video near St.Francisville il. But I live on the outskirts of Peoria (central Illinois).
