Bet Bengi slept after all that running. Very impressed with the bedroom, looking good. You could say I cheat but I paint around sockets before putting light switches in place and the same if fitting new skirting or coving, paint it first then touch up if necessary. Does Adam rate the no screw sockets, they look lovely?

I think we need a glimpse of you lads in your negligee/mankini just to imbue this project with suitable gravitas!

Underfloor heating would be ideal for saving energy because the water need to be heated less.

In my opinion, a strapped parquet and a darker color would have suited the style of the cottage house much better. The chosen type of parquet fits better in modern houses.

Benji is definitely living his best life! Dogs everywhere must be so envious watching him. My cats, not so much 😄 Love the work on the cottage. Great progress!!

Does it come with an attachment for Benji for a ride along? Here in Los Angeles they have the rentals on the sidewalk/pavement waiting for customers. My dog on her walks likes to smell the wheels of the parked rides. What i have noticed on the rental versions is the wheel guards wear away. The wardrobe side looks like it has beading? In California you have to have a license to operate the nail guns because of the ejection power. The red paint has the tone of red brick. In an apartment of mine I put up some wainscoting that i made out of oak and mahogany. Using the natural widths of the mahogany I sanded them and rounded the edges before staining them. Knowing that if i put the same wood in the recesses that I created between the widths of mahogany I put a much lighter colored oak so that as both woods aged and darkened the shadow would still be lighter than the mahagony using the natural characteristics of the woods into the design. The reson for the mahogany was that a preexisting fireplace of a somewhat similar hue brick of your walls looked out of place. But the mahogony had enough red in it to make the fireplace not as much a distraction as it was. The hue of the light oak floors made the brick hue look out of place.

Poor Benji's going to look like a Whippet with all that running up and down the hill. You'll have to increase his treats. 😊
