Build an Industrial Piano Bench Part 1
Просмотров 6685 лет назад
Come build an industrial styled piano bench with me. I had my design laser cut from 11 gauge hot rolled steel to save time. Be sure to check out the second part, featuring upholstery and finishing. This is also my first project using Tig welding. It didn't go as well as planed. (i've since learned to really prep the areas being welded, and control my torch height) Enjoy the build.

How to convert your Consew 226r to a large bobbin from a Juki-Lu563. This upgrade costs under $100. In my area Juki's go for over $1000. I was able to purchase this Consew for under $300. Update You'll also need to clearance the top of the case opener. Volkswagen Jetta Sway Bar Links Replacement 07-14 Here's how you can change your sway bar links, without removing the tire. We chose to replace them with an aftermarket set of links. Keep in mind I am a hobbyist and not a professional mechanic. Tools Needed: 2x 18mm wrench (I prefer ratchet wrenches) 1x 18mm socket and wrench 1x locking pliers 1x torque wrench 1x pipe (for added leverage) 1x rag

will this work on a consew 226 ?
Yes its the same.
Holy smokes thats one tough loader frame, even for a tractor several 4x larger. Nice fab work!
A great way at reducing spatter and preventing rust and dust from sticking to the table would be add a layer of finishing wax. Heat the plates up to 90-100°c and wipe on a layer. Protects the steel and keeps spatter down.
Great build and details I have 1 question. You said you tapped into the lift ports on the stock valve. Did you just cap 1 port and use the other port? Then tie the return into the existing return?
Its been a while... the return from the lift port goes to a the return on the low pressure return.
Best build up video! Most others have music only instead of an explanation step by step. You got my subscription and thumbs up!
Quality stuff right there.......the chinesium machines are garbage
Please loose the music !
Awesome video, I have the same machine in need of restoration. I also can't find any information. Did you ever find anything related to it? I couldn't even find record of excello making best grinders at all.
Why do you have music playing during an instructional video?
What tube sizing did you end up going for?
What a wonderful video young man. I mean my goodness I just might have to twist your little nipple hairs. You did such a good job.
I have the same lathe. Mine has a taper attachment. For some reason my cross slide has a big flat shim between the cross slide and bed
Thanks so much for this excellent video. Does this conversion work on a 227R cylinder arm machine? Mine was sold by Cowboy. I bought it new six years ago. The small bobbin is my only major complaint.
Can you still get return spring im looking for one if have any idea
Do others change the pto for higher pressure and faster speed? Can a tiller be added to the system just tee off the hydraulic block?
To the DIY guy that don't have a lift or a way to get all 4 tires on the air, make sure you lift both tires of the ground. Otherwise you are going to spend a lot of time hitting and pushing the bar with no luck. You see, once you lift one tire, the other that is on the ground is placing a lot of pressure on the bar you are trying to remove. Good luck
How much did app supplies cost? That's cool you can use the stock pump!
Great Job!!👍🏾. What stand out to me the most about this design is the 3 parallel square support tubes for the plates to rest on top of and the whole thing then resting on top of the 2 left and right tubes. No worries about consistency with the leveling of all the plates. Will use cold rolled steel plates since i heard those are flatter than hot rolled steel. Also noticed that the 3 tubes dont need to be welded on top of the 2 left and right tube and can simply be bolted down. The top can be built with no welding at all and then place on Heavy duty T-Slot aluminum profile frame based stand. 😳No welding required period. Perfect for newbies like me.
Same as 2015?
You're a rebel Cool upgrade
Can you tell me the diameter of the bobbins for this conversion?
Super
Love it, you are a master for taking this on. Lee the videos coming.
Hi,is there some one that sells the necessary modified parts, already to install for a fee
Is there a design
I have a question for you case 446 guys,I have a 85' 446 that ran great, then suddenly won't get fuel, has new battery & plugs so I put a new fuel filter in and it's getting to the carburetor but still nothing,it starts for a second with carb cleaner but won't stay running, is a a fuel pump or the carb?? I'd appreciate any input!

are the front links the same part for the fronts? or are they different between driver and passenger side? Thanks
How'd you get the top flat? Neat build!
Sorry, but for anyone considering this conversion the parts cost quoted above is grossly underestimated. The sewing hook part alone is almost $300USD. Please either update this information or link us to the sellers offering these parts at the cost you quoted, as I've overpaid for my machine based on parts costs that are way under what they actually are. Thanks.
The parts look to be near his quoted pricing on eBay. I just searched lu563 hook and lever separately and it came back with options there
@@petermacey5953 Yes, and the only way you can bring the conversion in near that budget is going with chinese junk parts. The sewing hooks are much more expensive for quality units
beautiful!
Generally speaking you either use two bucket cylinders or one center cylinder ... I've seen your method used twice before and both times the loader frame got twisted under use ... But I hope it works for you ...
Torque specs?
Where did you buy your metal at?!
I just bought an Atlas Clausing 6316 and I hope you do some more restore videos as mine is well worn and it would be cool to see somebody else working on theirs
so did you move the old bushing out of the way to get the vice grips in there cuz i just tried this and i ended up stripping the torx head on the bolt and the nut was just spinning the bolt as well and i’m about to go buy a dremmel and cut these damn things off
Not trying to be a critic here, but the patina on that was thing looked really good. 5:36 It's sort of like classic cars, when most people go and try to find one they always prefer one with the original paint.
Thanks for that. Great reference. Why do you need the longer take up lever? What is the difference that makes that necessary?
A bigger bobbin takes more thread to go around it, which means you need a longer take up lever.
Thank you for sharing this. This might end up costing as much as the mythical L9 hydro unicorn valve but I have a real liking for an actual brake. Now let's see where do I want to mount my new brake handle/pedal Hmmmmmmm .............. Probably the stock location with every thing else disconnected ? Yep that's it. And oh yeah drill and tap the end of the shaft for a bolt/washer to keep the key from walking out ? or tack weld it in ? Go cart disk pad arrangement?
Why not take the wheel off and make this job 60% easier
The music is so loud it made it hard to hear and so I turned it off 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
I’m thinking about doing this to my 444 I want to keep it as stock as possible and even though it’s harder probably won’t use foot control. Do you think that this is too hard on the pump because I don’t want to wreck it and then have to get a bigger one 😂
I haven't had any pump issues and I push mine to the limits often. You'll be fine.
@@bre86 What's the limit on lift capacity? How long does it take to hook up and take off? You probably don't remove it though lol
Awesome job! I've just put my hands unto one of these, great video to show me how to strip it and assemble it back together... The only part I'm worried about is the spring
Awesome video but just enough info to leave us confused sorry, Thx for taking the time to upload though
Very Good!..
With this work on my cutline 226
Very interesting, this will be filed into my brain for later reference. I didn't even know something like that existed.
Keep it up great vid
Just watch all the loader build videos, very well done. Top quality work and design!
