I first heard about these Pakistani grooming/rape gangs over 30 years ago, with reports of such activities dating back to the 1970s. At that time, they were targeting Sikh and Hindu girls and tragically the authorities failed to act. Even now, it seems unlikely that they will take meaningful action. It fell to the men within these minority communities to protect their daughters. No authority in the UK appears willing to safeguard children from these predators. The responsibility for their protection has always rested with the communities themselves. The harsh reality is that those in power seem indifferent, prioritizing appeasing Islamist groups over the well-being of children in what was once a beautiful country.

The UK became a rentier economy, i.e. one where instead of trying to generate value through useful goods and services, it pays you more to use your capital to extract wealth through others, either as a landlord or through financial products that skim value from everyone else in return for almost nothing. Now, it ought to be the job of the government to crack down on that through good fiscal policy, but successive UK governments have just let it carry on, not least because so many British MPs have a revolving door with the finance sector and/or are buy-to-let landlords. Combine this with immigration policy set for the benefit of corporations rather than citizens, and you have a recipe for long term disaster, screwing over the younger generations in particular. The west had a golden opportunity to change course after the 2008 financial crash, but didn't take it. Now the shit is hitting the fan.

I left the UK for Asia (I'm not british, I'm French) I couldn't care less about what is happening in the UK or even in France, happy to leave it behind for good. People like to over exaggerate everything back in the west with immigration this and that, the UK is not a war zone or rape land or anything remotely like the third world lol, they just don't like muslims, say it as it is. Grooming or not, there are lots of people who can't even look at numbers properly and think for themselves, instead they listen carelessly to misinformation from angry self proclaimed pseudo leaders like Tommy Robinson. I was from SEA. if most westerners flock to SEA, won't it end the same fate as what's happening to the west? Mass population density with limited resources, foods, shelter, etc? It's not a matter of if, but when. HK, as an example. Philippines is another, etc. Look it up condo for sale in the Philippines. One 2br is selling for Php18M. Of course, it differs with location, exclusivity, etc. Now, just convert it to your currency and see how much. Women, too, are expensive. They like you from the west because they think you have the money. When in reality, you only had your country's exchange rate advantage.

Moved back to N.Ireland in april last year from a year in Aus with a month stopover in SE Asia on the way home; and let me tell you, it’s probably the lowest I’ve ever felt in my life. Decent paying job but not a great quality of life because it’s so expensive. Terrible weather on top of that and it’s just absolutely rubbish. I think about SE Asia every single day.
