Quite understandable actually. Almost half of the BG3 community sides with your opinion. If Astarion had been a normal NPC in the game then I sincerely believe everyone's first mission in the game would be to hunt down the vampire spawn for XPs 😅.

Omg Astarion saying 'you're my favorite Sorcerer' IS a rare dialogue. It's a pity the rare dialogues are not heard again even after reloading the save files. Thank you so much for being in here .

I think the developers wait for the players to deal with the 3 cultists inside the Goblin camp and then spend the night partying. After that if you make your way to the bridge near the waukeen's rest we find Lae'zel's lifeless body waiting to be revived. Another quick way is to go straight to goblin camp and make way to the mountain pass from there and then if you come back immediately from the other side you also get to see Lae'zel there. It's a sad scene. Time and tide wait for none and Lae'zel is a force of nature.

Zombie Astarion is the most peaceful zombie in Baldur's Gate 3.

Wyll barging inside the camp and threatening Karlach is a pretty good way to introduce a character and a very fast way to leave the world too 😅.

Yes, that's absolutely true. This game has a way to deal with players if you never paid any attention to the characters, especially the road leading to the mountain pass is a prime example. I got 2 difficult scenarios - Leave Lae'zel alone and see what happens or just interrupt the meeting with Voss and see how Lae'zel turns up .

Sorry for the delay in replying. I deeply appreciate you being in here. As you can see, Astarion spared Cazador because one of the seven spawns had been accidentally. Therefore Astarion was able to choose the outcome of Cazador's fate. Astarion is one of the most complex characters in BG3 and his mood, view of life makes it very interesting. The more I learn something new about Astarion, I can't help but feel sad somehow. I don't know why. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts and insight. :)

Yes, it seems romanced Astarion has finally dropped his 'mask' off in front of Tav and speaks openly about his feelings 🙂.

She appears during the first night in the Act 3 if you had sided with Kith'Rak Voss after coming out of the Githiyanki cre'che .

She’s supposed to show up no matter what you do with Voss, just long-rest as soon as you get to act 3 after receiving the pale worm. Without spoiling, I will say there are two paths for Lae’zel and depending on previous choices you’ll have two different persuasion paths that impact her endings.

Well we aren't normal. I didn't touch the sigil during my first playthrough because it was scary. I mean, why would anyone touch it anyway 😅?!

This is the first time I tried out this class and losing the oath was purely accidental. The spells of this class are new to me. But I do know one thing - When the Paladin Smites, he smites hard and make a loud sonic boom sound and I love it.

I had been ignoring the call to investigate the Bhaal temple mission so one fine night Orin dropped in inside the camp as shape shifted as Halsin. I nearly panicked when I almost lost all the inspiration points 😆.

@@kapitainein well, someoneade a very... Interesting mod that gives character a HUGE pair of Homgus Donkus on their chest. Withers was not an exception.

Oathbreaker Knight: I need 1000 gold to restore your oath. Me: I'd rather pay 1000 gold to Withers to change my class. Meanwhile Withers: Now pay 1000 +1000 to both of us if you want to change your class lol.

After a few playthroughs, recruiting everybody and then talking to each of the unattended characters and all the same not taking them into the adventure sometimes feel like just a routine work and it could've been avoided completely because it begs the question - why am I recruiting at all and do I really need that character in my party?

@@kapitainein Yep, as a frequent "evil" player i noticed pretty quickly that Astarion, Laez'el and Minthara were the only party members i could keep around without everything feeling awkward. Then I started doing 2 character runs, 1 character, etc. I got a lot of fun out of experimenting with different combinations.

@@SystemOverload Whenever I see the armour I feel like this one's got to be the best one in BG3.

In fact majority of enemies in act 2 are not immune to necrotic damage but to poison. Even apostle of Myrkul can be damaged by necrotic spells.

That actually kind of makes sense for the type of being that withers is. I’m sure you know, he’s the original god of death. He’s not good, but he’s not necessarily evil - he is a god and gods in dnd are expected to be more in the role of a supervisor. They understand the need for evil as much as good. If you take an oath - you are beholding yourself with responsibility to maintain that oath, just as withers use to maintain an oath of responsibility to the dead. Makes sense that withers doesn’t care if you’re good or bad, but he expects you to stay true to yourself.

So it means, without the player interacting with Wyll, he doesn't come to know about Karlach's fate through shared psionic telepathic information transfer. Poor Wyll, I think Mizora did a number on him and took him to the hells.

I had no idea what 'unstppable' was right till my 3rd playthrough. I used to waste the level 6 spell on her like chained electric 😅.

Only the fate of Astarion is known in Act 3 and it seems without the protection of the artefact - Shadowheart succumbs to the parasitic infection and becomes a mind flayer, Karlach on other hand, is more likely dead because of the untreated infernal heart.

When the 'game' realizes you're walking out into a different region without Shadowheart in the party, it automatically transports the player into the camp (night time) with the artifact and when you leave the camp the next day, the region has changed.
