One thing I'd like to correct; Capcom did *not* felt that RE3R was an incomplete game. They didn't even know. They threw in RE:Resistance as a bundle with RE3R and this was obvious from the price point. They didn't give a free game, they forcibly sold it to all RE3R buyers. RE3R was obnoxiously expensive for the amount of content it had. It was only after it released that they realised what a hot mess RE3R was because their next move then was to immediately remove the studio responsible for RE3R from their RE4R project. (Yes, we almost got a mess of a RE4R as well)

Tbh, I only liked seasons 1 and 2. I'm kinda surprised people hate 2 so much.

Season 2 wasnt bad. But my reason its my least favorite; Clem is literally 9 years old and everyone is looking to her as a leader during the Carver section. With Lee thats reasonable, hes a grown adult and hes tough. With Clem it feels forced. And my biggest issue is, none of the carver section mattered at all. In fact cut that section entirely and it wouldnt make the story any worst. Kennys return was the highlight of this season. And i think had Kenny not came back, yeah i wouldnt have any love for it. The concept from the first season. "What you choose effects Clem." Now flipped on its head, "What you do effects Kenny." Okay Taletale, you got a great idea. And reasonably speaking good endings. Thats really why i cant hate it. Theres A lot of Good in this season.

It’s a shame this game wasn’t ported to the switch. Watching an interactive story while relaxing in bed seems rather ideal.

Jane is why the ambush happened and why Arvo is the most hated character. Kenny was the only character making sense after that.

Why was I playing this at like 11 Jesus

I didn't have a problem with RE-Resistance,it was more fun to me than RE3 remake,which was awful. I have the physical disc Korean release of Umbrella Corps,as i was only interested in the single player story mode. The problem with Umbrella Corps is the difficulty level. You take WAY too much damage from a single hit,so if any enemy double taps you it's an instant game over and this happens alot,and there's no options to lower the difficulty.

I have an older brother that’s really similar to David, down to the military background. Every time I play through ANF, I can’t help but try to make things work with David. I love the strong theme of family this season had, and will always have a soft spot for it

Twau is such a good game with such an interesting story, even tho Ik whats gonna happen I still get excited and on edge as I replay or watch a playthrough. I enjoy watching ppls first playthrough and watching them react to the story

Me and my gf replay this game almost yearly every Christmas and it's so nostalgic, even if I saw it a million times with all dialogues and endings, I will never stress enough just how underrated it is! I'm happy you made this video in 2025 🫶 edit: I just finished it, and realized the ending. Narissa glamoured herself to look like Faith after the incident happened (ir before, while knowing it was about to. I have no clue why the Crooked man wanted Faith killed however) idk how the fight with Woodsman happened, but she needed to draw Bigby's attention somehow and she needed him to know who Faith even was first. Then she put the head there. It was all Narissa. So supposively, Bigby and Faith never met in this new life. At least that's how I understood

3:40 i really like the way you phrase this. Clem is genuinely powerless and thus has little options with the group she's in. She's kinda along for the ride with this new group she stumbled into, in her own head thinking about her survival. She doesn't have many options and that's okay. Many people hate these kinds of games because it gives the "illusion of choice" but genuinely what other choices does Clem have other than staying with the group? Find another group? Go on her own? All these decisions are a lot to put on a kid who just wants to find a home, going from group to group til she finds it. We are playing as Clementine but we aren't her. She still has her own core character ultimately being shaped by your decision at the end whether you're with Kenny, Jane, Wellington or alone. However ultimately it doesn't matter by season 3 sadly.

I think Season 2 suffered a lot from it's ending conflicts and fight in my opinion. Luke's death really REALLY sucks, you don't really get a chance to process his death and say goodbye. It kinda feels like bullshit. When the group tries to defend Arvo saying "he's just a kid" when he was the one that led them to the group to steal from them much like you mentioned at 18:04 . And the ending fight sucks because unless you're someone who really hates Kenny, the Jane vs Kenny fight is super easy on who to side with and they definitely could've come up with a better ending having Luke and Kenny as the people you decide on who to stay with. I don't think they would've fought each other unless some scenario were to arise to cause them to fight. The only way I could see a fight is maybe deciding on going to Wellington or back to Howe's for supplies or somewhere else. No way Luke would've used AJ as a pawn to see the "real" side of Kenny. The only thing that's equal to this season from season 1 is deciding to stay at Wellington or going with Kenny. That really gets you right in the feels just like in season 1 and they executed that perfectly. It sucks seeing what could've been from the cut content but you can't win em all. Not every idea makes the final cut

After reading some of Fables I think the game did a great job of getting the vibe across. The comic is just as dark, and well worth checking out if anyone wants to dive deeper in the universe, see why things are the way they are. Maybe look up a reading order to help parse the timeline with all the short spinoffs. The run started in 2002, and add to that I think the characters use the odd intentionally outdated/old timey lingo and phrases given they arrived centuries ago, so the dialogue can take some getting used to at first lol. The dialogue in the game is a lot more comtemporary and concise I think. Looking forward to Wolf 2 now that Telltale is back from the dead. Hopefully we get our hands on it this year.

I unfortunately never had the opportunity to play this game, but I can’t count the amount of times I have seen the gameplays. To this day, it’s one that has stuck with me. I already knew as a teenager but even more so now as an adult the impact this failed system has on the story and how much it reflects on real life. It’s been long but i still wish for a sequel lol especially in dark times like these

Everyone shut up and read Fables

When I played this game I was too young to understand the the dark themes and why yhe crooked man was the bad guy. It seemed like everyone was bad, but I couldn't put it into words. After watching this video, I finally see why everyone's problematic and that Bigby is just trying to do the right thing in difficult situations. So thanks for explain and clarifying some of the things my dumb brain couldn't grasp!
