Most Amazing House Architecture Design Concept House Inside a Rock by Amey Kandalgaonkar
House in the Rock
The inspiration for the house in the rock Amey Kandalgaonkar drew from the rock carved tomb architecture in Saudi Arabia. The Shanghai-based architect redefines the organic geometry of these ancient archaeological sites carved in the sandstone rock by introducing a second material which intersects the original rock. By putting clean concrete slates, the designer reinterprets the historical monuments in a modernist environment.
