  • Just like its inventor Angel Stoyanov, who is a physicist, inventor, musician, restaurateur, the Bulgarian invention Drezina combines a lot of things - a bicycle, scooter and a skateboard. And when we put it into motion, we get yet another combination - movement, fun and sport in one. The idea about the creation of Drezina emerged in 2014 while Angel was taking his granddaughter for a walk in the park. Watching a little girl who was swaying on her own in the middle of a gondola swing while balancing from one leg to the other, he was inspired for the design of a compact vehicle set in motion in a similar way. Two months later the first prototype was ready - a light skateboard construction with two 12-inch wheels and a platform with two footrests.
The vehicle is named after the German inventor Carl von Drais who designed the predecessor of the modern bicycle as well as the now forgotten railway carts - the trolleys. But whereas in the past, because of the bad condition of the roads, riding the bicycle prototype created by Drais was a difficult and sometimes even dangerous endeavor, nowadays the smooth and level lanes make it easy, comfortable and pleasant to ride Drezina.
