You "Kinda did", Huh?
Just cruising by to say how delightful the staff at Signal is. Always on top of their game and extremely patient. They've helped me get some hard to find items imported over to the States in record time and in the rare instance I had any issues with modules, they went out of their way to make sure I was ok. Luke especially. Happy New Year Signal!!!!!
Maybe take off the rings that read “F*CK ✝️“ as it’s rather hateful...
Great video guys, so much great stuff to enjoy. I’m loving the PB12 😀 wish you all a merry christmas and happy new year
Great video, great picks! 👍😀
Tom (& Bries) are the two YT music tech personalities who are always jamming my favorite modules 100% of the time, never fails 🎊 🎉
This is coolest synth I seen/heard in a long time. Great video!
Polybrute 12 👍👍👍 ... however my gear of the year is Korg MultiPoly.
I sold my 16 voice Summit to buy a 6 voice Polybrute. No regrets. Absolutely love it
First
Curious what clock did you have driving the whole set up? Was pulsar following midi clock from the other device?
Yes, it was getting MIDI clock, I think it was from the Hapax but any MIDI clock source would do
@ awesome thanks dude! Have a pulsar on the way in the mail now…so stoked
Why is the clock divider show “percent” of project time? Wouldn’t music time make more sense like 1/2 1/4 2/1 etc
Nice share thanks.
No midi makes it an easy pass. Neat otherwise.
There’s some pretty inexpensive midi to cv converters out there such as the CV.OCD or if you have a DC coupled audio interface you could use Ableton CV tools or the Bitwig alternative.
brilliantly inventive patches, @SoundsMick 🤩
Stoked. Hope to get one
Sounds very warm and organic. Definitely interested in trying this out if I can find one.
Just saying: thank you! My first meeting with this instrument. It is awesome, and your video and accompanying audio present it so well.
What made you choose this over the Erica synth syntrx II ?
I do also have a Syntrx 2, they're quite different especially in the oscillator structure and it's approach to utility function. I would say the Cric is much more generous in its functions and the oscillators take it into wildly different sonic territory.
@@SoundsMick bro, nothing on this video sounds "wildly" ... you barely can listen to the synth´s character
@ there’s other videos that show the synth in a more raw state upcoming, there’s a good livestream here actually: ruclips.net/video/oHuUrRra3OQ/видео.html. My video was an exploration / commentary of my time using it as part of a compositional setup vs a more nuts and bolts explainer. I probably could have just done a couple filter sweeps tho 😂
finlay! great work if you read this
Lovely exploration and thoughts on Crick's.
Love your channel 🙏✌️
Thanks Ben :)
Ridiculous wow 🤩
This thing looks dope but I need to hear more. Need someone to just run a sequence for 5 minutes and go through some standard sounds.
7:47 it is getting interesting
Ali is THE MAN
Looks and and more importantly sounds fabulous!
Really cool demo! Thanks a lot!
Thanks so much, guys! What a beautiful demo and tutorial! I want to also credit Vlad Litvinenko who wrote the code for these instruments, and the Synthux Community for being such a supportive open environment for creation.
I'm looking to add a hardware sequencer to my iPad + 1 hardware synthesizer setup. If you've used an OXI One before as well, which would you say is the quickest to work with /least amount of menu diving? Which do you prefer?
My personal preference is Hapax because of its size and layout / ease of use
Great demo and performance!
Cool video ! Lately i've been having lots of fun with the sample audio playback algo (clocked or not-I1 and I2) and the way it switches from one sample to another in "legato" (playback position maintained) , is very cool if you've prepared your samples with that in mind. Such a great module !
csl for me
This is the first video that has helped me to understand what the hell is actually going on in the Leibniz system. Now I can see the appeal.
I never had a hardware sequencer. The HAPAX... how difficult was to learn how to use it? Thanks for the video!
I think it’s quite intuitive! It’s all quite clearly laid out
@SoundsMick Thanks for your reply!
Is there an online repository of pre formatted wavetables, samples, libraries etc for mk4? I’d love to skip the chore of preparing stuff for sd card.
Nice grooves there Mick. This instrument is very appealing. The cv levels input range is a little disappointing but I'm sure it would work well with my MPC One. Would you please demonstrate some integration with eurorack.
Excellent explanations and I can see nice Eggs on your desk (lovely monitors)
Great Machine.
Why was the tempo BPM moving all over the place when you were talking about elastic BPM? Bug?
That's just what happens when you child a MIDI device to a parent one, it's still tight just a decimal point of the BPM fluctuates, happens on all MIDI gear.
Very interesting modules. I came here from the newsletter which I love to read every time it arrives, good work guys!
Excellent intro video. Great to see the whole set (so far) collected and contextualized.
Hello! Very Nice demo thank you! Can I ask what are you sequencing for the Glockenspiel sound. Is it an internal sample or an external device? Thanks a lot. Also your video on the Pulsar was really interesting.
That was Speldosa on the iPad, I think they have a desktop version too, it sound real nice
Can the transposition be triggered via midi using an external keyboard?
💀😂💀😂💀
Trot is the bees knees
Cool trashy grungy little chords
That def made Trot sound better than any other demon I've heard.
What an otherworldly filter! Very novel
