Those who don't know in the 1960s there used to be a shuttle train between South ferry on the 1 train and bowling green on the 4 and 5
We used to go there after school to smoke, definitely not a fun place to get high
The abandoned M3 got scrapped because sanitation workers kept on reporting people for partying over there. The freight train workers are okay with people walking the tracks
bro done got caught 😭💔
Yo I have been there it’s chill
I heard there’s some sort of drain in there or pump to prevent the entire station from flooding
kids in blue and black r idiots lmfao why r u trying to throw shit out the window when ur trespassing
The NY Transit Museum should be relocated here so that Court St station can connect to the Second Ave Line which would then continue as the Fulton St Line’s local tracks. Because this would de-interline services in the Cranberry St Tunnel. Also, to then ease trains turning around at WTC, the E can continue to terminate there and the C can be routed via an entirely new line which there’s a provision for just before the terminus and run all the way via the west coast of Brooklyn and then terminate at Ninth Ave using the abandoned lower level.
10:46PM south ferry abonded
I was here before those artists.
This is cool, but doing this with kids is like begging the cops to find you. Ya can never do things quietly. 🤣🤣🤣
0:48 On one of the pillars, you can see my dads tag!

I actually saw the entrance of it on the outside on the street. I literally said” that looks like a subway entrance”
Bruh why would you spray paint the wall in such a well preserved station?
How did you get in there
This is cool. Do u have any sort of hazing or initiation to join ur crew?
Why are the lights always on in abandoned stations?
I live in Queens what street is that s on Queens New York
🤡
Because
You guys might as well have had speakerphones since yall were being so loud for no reason
Wheres the entrance, looks like a good time
R46!!!!!
How creepy these stations must have been during the 1970s/1980s when violent crime on the subway was at its very worst!.
Welcome to 2024
I remember this crazy kid named "Sexyman Bojangles* he actually made an escape while i was there and we watched him run down the hill from our windows. We were cheering him on. 😂 This was around November 2004.
I was in there in November 2004. Watching this brings me crazy flashbacks. I wonder whare all my "Hospital mates" are now.
JESUS CHRIST
how u got down there
These are all from back in the IRT days, I assume?
What train pass underneath between Woodhaven and Atlantic avenue?
I heard they installed cameras down there recently
Deblasio's and Adams money at work. I mean is Brooklyn going to end up with 3 stations or something?
watching this video is giving me straight up flashbacks i when there late 2010/early 2011
RD357 🔥
They have motion detectors now when you go up the stairs, don’t go up there
Careful, they have motion detectors down there now
Shit really i was thinking about checking it out damn
Back in the 80’s if you wasn’t down with certain writing crews, you would’ve gotten bum rushed and have all your paint taken away from you in these lay-ups. Those were the good old day when graffiti crews use to war with each other. Miss them days.
Trains to the Rockaway Beach Branch turned away from the Atlantic Branch before the Woodhaven Station. Trains from the Rockaway Branch to Brooklyn entered the Atlantic Branch after the Wooddhaven Station. When you ride a train between Jamaica and Brookly,n eastbound, you can still see the remnants of the portals for the diverging track as well as the open space in the walls between the eastbound and westbound Atlantic Branch tracks where the crossovers were located. The whole thing is kinda sad.
I got eerie flashbacks looking at the rooms. Mine was the one closest to the doors we used to get to the gym, my friend had the single room across the hall from me. I had a roommate that waa admitted for violent episodes and she used to steal my underwear. I was in both wings of the 3rd floor at one point in 2011 and 2012
Did you know a boy named Tyrone
You guys are certified idiots
Was that a rat going up the stairs at the 4:15 mark?
No it was not, it was something hanging from the ceiling while he walked down making it look like something is going up the stairs
Lol bro was running but train was fast lol
"An old sight that was meant to last"
For the history
I worked there 1978-1987. I am surprised it lasted until 2008. Very interesting.
They should reopen the platform to the public. Not as a station, the track area would be fenced off, but just as a place to watch trains go around the loop.
