From horrible design flaws to wild safety hazards, the 80s were a decade of some history's most unforgettable vehicles. Including cars like the Yugo down to the Ford Pinto, this video breaks down why some of the worst cars of the 1980s were ...

A.I trash video. Another garbage channel/.
BEVs are FINALLY crashing. update you video pls!
The Mazda Cosmo you show is the original from the 1960's!- not the 300 HP (275 HP in reality) you are talking about- stupid AI videos! Channel blocked!
Compared to today's overpriced overcomputerized crap, 80s cars were great!
Too hard to work on modern cars these days!
Rubbish. None of these are banned in the US. They just weren't sold there. There's nothing to prevent a private buyer from importing them.
The Fiat 126 is not 2-stroke, it’s a 2 cylinder 4-stroke. When you go to the trouble of making a video please make sure the content is accurate.
… click bait title… All of these cars can be imported and have been imported into the US or even sold here. Most are low production and can be sold and owned in the US under show and display. The rest are over 25 years old and are exempt from emissions (with the exemption of the last years of production of the rover mini and the VW beetle 2000 forward). As far as the 8C spider. It was also low production but just under 40 were sold new in the US
Fiat 126 is an air-cooled four stroke, inline two cylinder engine
you would think this video was made by someone with 50+k subs great work!
Not even 150 subs yet 😅 thank you so much for this comment!
AI voiceover keeps naming the cars a different way. You would think it would at least be consistently wrong or right.
😅🤣😂
good video
Thank you alpha!
No one was ever fooled by the Cimmarron
Couldn’t be us! 😂
4:23 the wood panel. I want this car so bad. How much?!
If I had it, I wouldn’t sell it!
Once again the Fiero is left out and forgotten. I don't know if that's a good or a bad thing?
😅🤣
You left out the Adobe! "hey, hey! We're Adobe! The little car that's made out of clay!"
For all you people born after 1990, to differentiate so people know what your talking about, 8 tracks were called cartrages. Cassettes tapes were smaller reel to reel. So nobody gets them confused.
Manual , locks and manual seat adjustment , 3 on the tree, key to unlock the doors , trunk, start the engine
I would not consider my 1997 Toyota Hilux as classic ute it has quarter windows (vents) which are still come on a 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser 70 series on the single cab ute getting back to my Hilux manual windows cacassette player and my 2004 Mazda Bravo ute still had a cassette player radio my Hilux has a carburator and an automatic choke so before you say these features have disappeared research makes a big difference l know you yanks think the world revolves the USA researching your videos makes a difference and there are many commercial vehicles with some of these features that have as you said have disappeared and with my Hilux which is 27 years the crank windows are original and so is the carburator has not been removed and they both still work well well after its a Toyota which are designed to last for ever which my Hilux will
*Promosm* 🌹
very well made video!
thank you!! :)
The PINTO was a 1970s car...
Why don't they say anything about the Ford caliente
Lol the crazy part is that I own a mk1 golf and I have everything that is in the past, like carburettor, manual crank window no A.C no power steering.....
Oh wow!! What a treasure, do you still use it as a daily driver or is it like a project car?
"Manual steering systems lack the self centering feature" Not really. If you let go of the steering wheel, it will recenter itself. Just with physics. You just have to be moving forward.
Typical AI crap, mispronouncing, and wrong info... Pinto??? That's a 70's car.
Mopar muscle is dead forever. Long live the Ford Mustang...the last muscle car being built today!
the mach-e is actually kind of striking as well 👀
Well, the "Charger" is no longer American nor muscle. Fiat and Alfa never built cool V8 muscle cars. Mopar is an import company now and it shows in the new Charger.
Manual windows suck, I have them on my 2001 Commodore, on hot days you have to walk around the car and wind them down, and do the same of winding them up, as opposed to clicking a button, without nostalgia, all you have is reality
They are very nostalgic for sure!
I reckon vent windows died off because of the cost of manufacture. Much easier for the factory to install one big window in the door.
With maybe a little bit of, "yeah these suckers look a little werid.. they gotta go 💨 "
Cool video. You missed the driver's crotch vent and floorboard high beam switch, though. Also, tape decks were not easier to operate 😂 They were notoriously finicky and prone to eating their tapes. We used to joke that a No. 2 pencil was called that because it had two uses: writing, and re-spooling the tape into the cassette after the tape player got jammed.
thanks for watching brian!
