They just put the nail in the coffin with this new update 😭😭😭 🗣️🗣️🗣️ I actually loved this car brand before the change
They went woke and will now go broke just watch
But yeah so sad, I like jaguar
@@AdoptedHistory Even when it's not about wokeness, their decision to change their recognize logo is weird. And nowadays with other luxury car that actually great, even affordable car like Honda with great standard. I think, Jaguar can't keep their luxury anymore
It's basically an SUV with a truck bed
That’s disrespectful to SUVs don’t you think? 🤣🤣
@AdoptedHistory 🤣🤣🤣🤣,I forgot that the cybertruck isn't just a insult to SUV's but to practicality as well
to all of the above 😂
It's an interesting vehicle, but will ultimately flop, because there's just not enough people that will buy it. It can't be sold in certain markets like Europe what's pedestrian crash safety
I feel the same brother
They now have a new logo and typeface that looks as if it was designed just to look different and bears no relation to the old. The brand has destroyed itself.
I thought it was a joke when I saw it on twitter... theyre going woke and will now lose on even more customer base. not good
And now they have eliminated their famous logo and made a weird ad. Maybe they have just lost the only thing they had left, their identity
It’s so bad.. it looks like a 6 year drew the font. Killing their fan base 😩
You only have to look at how many 'borked' Jags are for sale with Ingeneuous Engines. Then you look to the Milk Float range which look like something by BYD from China. I"lll give them 3 years
they have def had better times
My SVR F-Pace is probably my best purchase this video is way off .
thanks for watching
Nissan has never been good... 😅
depends who you ask lol
Dealer experience in the US was dire - i went in to buy an f pace with cash in hand. The dealer didn't have what i wanted in stock. Said he'd get back to me on delivery dates. Thatvwas the last i heard from him. After 2 weeks nothing. So instead my wife got her choice and we brought a t8 xc90 volvo instead.
they need to train their staff better on the store front side it sounds like
Ev they want to charge over $100k per car not realising people won't buy them
lol good point. targeting a small niche in the market is not working for them
Fully electric is a huge mistake
gasoline > ev
Jaguar made the E Type and Jaguar made the Mark 2 and XJ. THAT was Jaguar. If what they’re going to produce doesn’t EXACTLY have the same genetics from those, then Jaguar CAN’T exist.
How many CEO failed on EV strategy ? Abundant, but why is their vision failing and what is the major issue? New supply chains are very costly and maintained at super high premiums such as insurance and part and labor shortage, an average middle class simply cannot afford it. On the other hand, that’s why hybrid is sustainable for the time being until the EV strategy leverages with ICE supply chains substantiality. They really miss the target or blind folded flying to a brick wall. While the other camp is intact on target.
severely missed their target, they sure tanked after that new ownership
Until Ford left the boat, with a little bit of cherry peaking, you could fine amazing machines in the line up. The 4.2 V8 Supercharged engine is just a masterpiece, even in reliability, and some designs were really iconic. I have a 2007 XKR Convertible and a 2007 XJR, and they feel really special compared to the most mainstream premium brands equivalents, despite being more simple in conception and having worse technology in some areas. I would never prefer a 6 series convertible over my XKR, or a 7 series over my XJR. On top of that, my Xjr has 496.000km on the clock, and it performs almost as new.
I liked the superchargers
Selling Jaguar and Land Rover.
Even Fiat has changed their minds on going EV only because their 500e city car has been a sales failure. Let me repeat: A small city car, literally the perfect car to be electric, has failed to sell in it's electric version. Now, if even a small electric car has failed so much that their manufacturer are scrambling to create an ICE version, imagine the disaster that it's going to be for a brand like Jaguar to go full EV-only. Get ready everyone, we're about to watch a company destroy itself in real time.
Great Car the I8
I actually thought it was a SICK car. saw the other day, I drooled lol
People keep associating Jags as being unreliable, which is odd because it's the furthest thing from the truth about modern Jags, which are just as reliable as the German peers. If you want to talk about unreliable, look at LR...they're less reliable than a weather forecast during the apocalypse, and people still buy them in droves. Then they never follow through on their direction, changing it every 2-3 years, which is super short in automotive terms. Changing direction like that is EXPENSIVE. Only thing they did right in the last decade is modernizing and trying something different, but they never stopped "trying something different."
LESS RELIABLE THAN A WEATHER FORCAST DURING THE APOCALYPSE lmaoooooo
I have owned a Jaguar since my 1971 E-Type through my current XKR and XJL. However, I will never buy or drive an EV so this is very sad news for me personally and I feel the last nail in the coffin for Jaguar. R.I.P.
Why is this video stuck at 40 views
I own a '18 XF, Great car and looks the part. No idea what went wrong in Jaguar HQ that they thought the customers would like Electric cars and modern futuristic looks. I-pace is the ugliest car in the newest lineup.
I have been driving an E Pace for 2 years reaching 60000 km no issue with the car just the normal servicing, no engine, no shaft issue just the normal servicing every 13000 km. I had a 3series bmw the turbo broke up after 25000 km and all doorhandles went sticky after 30000 km.
It doesn't help that they are moving their entire line to electric. I buy their cars for the 5.0L Supercharged SVR motors. The noise... the experience.
those superchargers were something else 🔥
Going all electric is the death of Jaguar electric is not the way to go the infrastructure is not there and the technology is not good enough it’s a really dumb idea which is why most car companies are dumping their electric vehicles
yep, ev killed the company
Jaguar needs to immediately cease all production. Re tool for one model and one model only. Re manufacture the vintage XKE, with a slightly updated drive train, and barely meet safety and crash test guidelines. Stay as close as possible to the original design, with this one model. It would save the brand.
Don't forget sound effects
😄😄
I didn't need the history lesson. I needed to be told: management decided to be fully electric by 2025. Meaning they have to introduce all new cars. Production lines have to be repurposed, meaning they effectively don't have any product to sell.
lmao
I think they’re doomed I’ve owned 4 and 2 were the most unreliable cars I’ve ever owned. They do look good though.
I miss their old designs
Its becoming quite clear, go woke go broke!
Agreed!!! Same with Disney and Marvel and all the other companies following this trend. Most people are not buying into it
I used to own a 2014 Sentra and I managed to change the fluid every 20k miles which it lasted 167k miles before I sold it. Even with that, the reputation is already broken and Nissan should just go back to the drawing board with a new transmission. Even for me who's mechanically literate, the only modern Nissan I would buy are the ones with stickshift. My current daily is a 2016 Versa with 5 speed manual. Sadly, they're slowly fading away since the Versa, the only currently new manual transmission economy car in the market, is discontinuing in 2025. Edit: the 2016 Versa with 5 speed manual is great to drive. My only nitpick is the delayed throttle response since it's drive-by-wire electric throttle than drive-by-cable mechanical throttle. I can feel the instant throttle response difference on my 93 Nissan Hardbody truck.
I know a couple people who have Versa's and one of them is actually obsessed with it haha. Some cars grow on people tho so I get it, I hope you the hell out of that car man - if it works for you that's all that matters 😃
