I found your video by chance and, how can i say... it just describes what I've been living for the past 4 years. The craziest thing is that I'm the same age as you ! I feel like I'm still 14 and mentally stuck at that age. But when I'm told I'm 18, i say , "Sorry ? How did that happen so quickly?" thought i was still 14, but I'm not. I can really relate to this. I deleted my social media back in 2021, and initially, it felt great. However, the longing for connections eventually kicked in. I lost touch with most people, except for a few. It made me realize that many of the connections I thought were genuine were just with people who are chronically online and wouldn’t check on me otherwise. It's a mix of emotions, but I know if I go back, I'll get caught up in doom scrolling, which is even more depressing.

Time definitely gets shorter as we grow older and I keep feeling how little I have. Relatively it is, one minute, one second has less significance compared to the cumulative years we have lived but the process and progress of our minds have changed course in a way that society hasn't seen. Our generation is marked by this integral period. Being alone for long periods of time only exacerbates this difference. Most of my summer is spent getting over the mental blocks associated with being at home and breaking out of the freeze response I had in response to lockdown (my mental health was rough and the hazy memories of that period of time still affect me) as well as trying to break through the relentless shame and guilt of being unable or feeling incapable of moving out of that trance. Lockdown was my time of greatest change but I feel like I can't remember any of it, when I look back it's endless, everything happened outside of me. Anyways I probably should go brush my teeth, sorry for the yap. This video really helped me feel more seen , the writers block at the beginning was way too real. I loved the ambience, it was like a visual hug that I needed. Thank you.

first of all, AMAZING FILM, from the editing, angels, colors and music choice and script!! and it got recommended to me in just the right moment, i have been feeling this way for over a year now and it has been causing me so much anxiety to the point where i called my country’s mental health line lol. and i totally agree on the memories part, i felt back in 2019 where i was still a freshman in highschool that everyday was filled with adventure and amazing memories with friends, and to have all of that suddenly being taken away really messed me up. will try my hardest to fill the rest of the year and the years to come with as much memories as i can, and you try too!! lots of love <3
