journal entry (18/5/24):
damn another rushed film. this one i wanted to try not having any dialogue and just rely on visuals to tell a story. it was rly fun to create nonetheless. i love putting in hidden details in everything. everything has a meaning - which i think is rly cool. hopefully u understand the meaning just as much as i need to. it's so easy to get caught up, to waste time doing things that don't add anything to our lives. i've been binging a lot as of late. mainly marvel tv shows (i mean i was pretty inspired by moonknight in this film, if it's not obvious). i think the worst thing is that i create excuses. such as "oh but i'm looking at shots for inspiration". i gotta get past that. cus im never gonna get anything done if i keep consuming other people's art. if i keep on spending my time in the wrong ways. anyway imma go now. i need to be working harder.
