This is so fascinating and to be honest such a welcomed eye opener into the point of this , in my opinion, incredible album. To hear the minute and gory details of how all of the songs came to be is like finding a new and fresh way to be even more intimate with a band that in many ways is so much a part of me and my amazing time here on Planet Earth! Duran Duran thank you for “Thank You” and for composing the soundtrack to all that I know of what it means to be alive. Oh and the critics can suck it…. Really. It’s too special for them anyways. ❤❤❤

Did Plant eventually finish the 2024 tour? Heard it was sponsored by Geritol and Depends which he proudly endorses and apparently even wears them too.

Aww...Robert stairways with everyone except Jimmy. I get it, he doesn't want to give the impression that they are reuniting or anything like that but it'd make his friend so happy.

I will always watch this performance! It’s downloaded in my iPad. It’s quite beautiful even more so now and after listening to this song since I was a teen girl in the 70’s. ❤

It's been almost 30 years since Duran Duran released their Thank You album. To be honest, the drum beat that Anthony played on "Ball of the Confusion" still deserves a Nobel Peace Prize. Of course, there are and have been many brilliant drummers in the world, but this beat is simply unforgettable because the whole game is so different. And often when I show it to drummers, they suddenly don't know what's going on :) It's worth a listen. And anyway, the whole album is brilliant, I can only recommend it to those who like to immerse themselves in the game of music.
