For sure, it’s definitely not shifting from almost bottom place. But I’m glad I gave it a chance and hopefully I’ll watch it again in the future. As you say, it is perfectly harmless, yeah it’s silly, dumb jokes ect but I’d say a popcorn movie, maybe? Mr Freeze from BTAS was perfect. They didn’t need to make him the way he did. But it’s Arnie so I guess they let him do what he wanted. If I was paid $25 million for 6 weeks work, I’d be acting like that as well 🤣 Thanks for your comment and input. Always welcome to see 👍

What a hunk of junk. However, I have an idea. If you're familiar with the Batman The Animated Series episode, "Jokers Wild," maybe you could customize it to look like a slot machine from that episode. I can't remember if they had any unique features, but I think they might have. Probably had Joker's face on the spinning bits, maybe a Joker head on the top of it. Could make for an interesting build.

You know what @ChuckM0503 that is a fantastic idea! I do indeed remember that episode, fortunately, I do have the box set of BTAS so I will definitely take another look and see what I can do. Thanks, man 👍

Thank you! I’m also keeping an eye on that new part work series. As long as all the licensing is in place, I can’t see why they wouldn’t go ahead with this. The 89 Batmobile has been for people’s top list for a long time. Fingers crossed that it happens I will 100% be picking this up 👍

Thank you. It was difficult to decide which area I should build from, as there are many quick shots from various parts of Axis Chemicals. But I really wanted the shot through bay door included, so decided on that scene, albeit, with lots of smoke and fire behind the Batmobile. Hoping to have this done soon, but I’ll keep you all posted 👍

Yeah I found this out when I was building the Batcave diorama for it. I had to keep making adjustments so everything looked correct and in scale. But I agree, definitely the best one, until someone makes a better one!

@MattandTheRetroRoom that's so unfortunate... The scale of this Hot wheel version is actually around 1:21. Not sure what they were thinking but it's very noticeable next to other versions.

It was my fault. I should have checked before basing everything off the vehicle. I managed to get it done but at the beginning, the scale was way out 🤣 Never mind, lesson learnt. I also believe the next Batman 89 Batmobile from Hot Toys isn’t quite right scale wise. People are saying it’s 4 inches shorter than it should be.

Yeah it’s nice. It is just look tall to fit in my display cabinet. I would like to use it though. I was pondering making a diorama for the wingsuit. We’ll see.

I think you’re right. Out of the Hot Toys I have (which is 4) Batman Begins and Sonar suit have very nice capes (Sonar suit is the best for me). However, Robin and The Batman, not so much. They both feel cheap. I’m wondering if they choose those designs for screen accurate look. Despite the cape, I’m still happy with the figure 😀

I do like the wing suit in the film, but it’s not a great look on the figure. But it is well made and screen accurate.

Thanks man. It’s a very decent figure despite the cape and wing suit. The wing is actually very high quality but looks dreadful in the figure. The chest plate is removable and can be used as another accessory. Thank you for watching, it’s good to be back.
