Hellooo, the video is on point and I would say perfect but the mic sounds to me a bit saturated in the first half, I feel like the 2nd half is another take. I'm using the logitech pro x and don't have any issue with the sound. Nice narration!!

Yakuza Dead Souls was made to appeal to western (American) audiences in an attempt to save the series, it was a flop and probably only know because Yakuza 0 succeeded to bring in audiences outside of Japan into its scope. I got into 0 as it was recommended on steam due to a surge in sales, thank goodness because I love Yakuza. I think it's the dedication to making every individual aspect of the game amazing as the developers probably thought this would be their last game. Kiwami 1 never did it for me but 2 and the original games were all amazing and It shows that putting love into something is what will make a game good. I need to replay 0 on legendary but from what I remember going for 100% the series as a whole still holds up to this day.

I searched specifically "should I start final fantasy x now" because I would like to ask my wife to play her first RPG ever. It was the most significant for me, and I couldn't see any reason it wouldn't be one for her. Also her English will benefit greatly from this, no doubt :D

I've never played it and haven't been spoiled by the story. Currently around 5 hours in and enjoying it. The constant fights in some areas when trying to figure out where to go are a bit tedious though. But with 7th Heaven mods it still holds up.

Anyhow, if you don't want to waste a lot of time in your life and are a thorough player who tries to find and do everything you can, it's hard to say, but you probably shouldn't touch this game. It's WAY too good. Once you know what you don't know about the story yet, you probably won't be able to stop until the end. I'm at about 225 hours of playtime on my PS2 past Seymour Natus, I feel additionally trapped because I haven't died a single time yet, and my end time could be at around 500 hours. I might not only be half-way through.

The new mods have basically made the og game an entirely new experience. Amazing what the community has done with ff7

Playing it again right now for the billionth time but this time with the Satsuki Yatoshi mod I've recently discovered. 60 FPS, upscaled backgrounds, characters, cinematics, vfx, fonts, menus... man it's truly phenomenal, it makes the game shine even brighter. Play OG VII at least once in your life people, please.

You don't "improve" a story by stretching it so it can fill three books instead of one. That's why the original FFVII is still relevant despite the remake trilogy. And there are excellent mods to bring the old graphics and framerate to more modern standards.

I play FFVII once a year. The music, story, gameplay and the endless materia combos? Its fantastic. The limit breaks too? Just a game no matter how much time passes a game I wont ever stop playing.

FF2 (not 4), 3, 8, 11, 13, 14, 15, etc I never played. And the only one I want to play is 8 and yet I have it and I just can't seem to get into it.

My only issue with the game is that the battles drag and the game limits grinding so you can't make them go faster when you want to

FF7 is my first Final fantasy game. I am currently at the hojo boss at the time of making this comment, and I must say it is already becoming on of my favorite games ever! I have never felt so invested in a games story as ff7 and the characters were surprisingly well written! Honestly it makes me want to check out the other ff games as well!

This game was a product of the situation at the time. Had any of the contributing factors been different, final fantasy 7 would not have been like this. This iteration could have been a Super Nintendo game.

Replaying this game fully modded on my steam deck has been great after trying the shitty remake. Enix should be ashamed of what they made. The fans & modding community once again have saved the day!

This game is insanely overrated. It has one of the most boring and generic stories. The gameplay is fine, its enjoyable to play, but the story is just super generic and uninteresting. Final Fantasy 12 is in the exact same boat. Good games, but thats it.

Personally Final Fantasy 8 took up a good 65 hours of my time and that's even with me getting one of the best weapons early in the game around the first "cave" Had 2nd best weapon With the Final Fantasy VIII honestly it took me in leaps. I'd get to certain spots and be like "damn this is actually good!" After beating the main story I kept thinking about how much better it was than my expectations this is something I only played in the last 2 years because when I first tried it I didn't get the combat system I would just say one word that encapsulates the moment that I started to cry and that word is "space". So potent. Always think about that. Just a super awesome part of the experience that sort of defies words like if I hadn't played that game I would not understand why people found that specific part to be one of the best in Final Fantasy

The materia system in Crisis Core Reunion is amazing too. The main thing that made me do all the quests. I plan on playing ff7 and remake again before rebirth despite my 2k hours of active time. Anyway great video. It's funny every time i'm doubtful i'll fully enjoy ff7 again, I immidiately get sucked back in. Obsessed with rebirth SOMEHOW giving us a similar feel with environments. The environments and atmosphere of FF9 is just unmatchable to me, but it's like both environments were 100% perfect with the narrative. I hope ff7 remains with us until the end of our existence. Gen z, alpha and the rest. Sometimes the stars align and everything is near perfect. FF7 is a shining example of that ultra rare enduring concept and fulfillment of "masterpiece"

I play FF7 per year or two. Never leave it running but have almost 2k hours. The remake was amazing too, but rebirth has such a high standard to compete with.
