    Wow dude, that thing is a beast, badass too! How does it do with those huge tires and all the other mods with the 4.0? I managed to find myself a unicorn. 2004 WJ Loredo, 4.7 with only 32k miles on it. It was some dude's 2nd car and only came out in the snow. More than half the miles are open country roads. The 4.0 was my preference also, but this ran and sounded really good. And the interior, 90% mint! I just put a 2" lift with BFG All Terrain TA 245/65/17 on Rock Trix rims with a +12 offset. It looks amazing. The tire and rim combo fill out the wheel wells nicely. It's not nearly the beast yours is, but I do have an 03 Rubicon I'm working on. The Cherokee is my daily driver. Nice ride, great video. If those hood mounts for the lights ever fail M11 Offroad makes a decent set for $45, mine should be coming soon. Any suggestions on light pods?

    2019 wrangler unlimited sport, ESS stopped working / light came on. Swapped out main and aux battery, (both were factory and aux was bad, causing a parasitic drain on main). Everything is working except the ESS light is still on and start/stop disabled. I’ve checked if fuses were properly set, reset ECU twice, checked everything mentioned on the video. Apparently there are like 24 things that could cause the ESS to deactivate. I’ve read on forums that sometimes after changing the batteries the ESS light can go off after regular driving for a few days. Would love to figure this out without having to go to a dealership but running out of potential causes.

    Excellent video! You got me pumped up with your vids I was thinking of regearing my stock axels and add support to run 40’s and see how long they last before they break. But definitely do aggressive trails. Or should I just go straight to the 60 ? Thanks 🙏

    • @PSFGarage
      @PSFGarage 15 дней назад

      Thanks so much! Guess it depends on the stock axles. Are we talking Dana 30 and 35? If so, probably not worth spending the money to beef them up for 40’s. Dana 44’s? Might be worth beefing them up. That’s the plan on my JL. Otherwise, might be worth upgrading to some 1-ton axles and upgrading those. Probably the better option long term! I bought a gladiator and wrangler JL rubicon also for this exact same reason. I wanted capable off road vehicles and overlanding far into the wilderness, but didn’t trust older trucks and jeeps. I had a 03 Tacoma trd and was left stranded one time cuss the older front driver arm broke and essentially the wheel hubs fell off. After that I sold it and bought a brand new gladiator, never looked back and never had a major issue overlanding. Few months ago, I bought a Jl rubicon for more off roading specific trips. Gladiator is great for overlanding and staying on groomed trails, but not good for off roading/wheelin.

      I’d probably do the pressed centers again. They’re stout, easy to use and a good offset.

      Looks like are pressed pretty close to the suds? Any worry about having to replace a stud and not having room to reinstall?

      They were! It’s a 3.5” lift all the way around. Great, budget friendly kit.

    I've owned a 3" lifted 4.0 quadra-trac(my son wrecked) anyway I I bought an '01 Grand w/select trac. I installed Core 4x4 adjustable control arms w/Core adustable trac bar, Core spacer block above rear diff. mount. 175,000 miles doesn't burn oil. Our Grands aren't potty trained very well. But @ the end of the day my little mule has been through a foot of snow & mud. I bought it for $3,000, put about $3,000 in suspension. The '99-04 Grand Cherokee is the "Swiss Army Knife" of JEEP/COMFORT.

      Oh, and "no brainer" all synthetic fluids. My tires are Cooper AT3 on 17" '06 Wrangler aluminum. Perfect combo for 80 mph highway and offroad.

    Thank's man, that was so cool. I'm the proud owner of an '01 Grand Cherokee that I coil lifted 3" w/Core 4×4 all adjustable. Never flexed because I know how unique '99-'04 solid axle is. Chrysler did it right back then. My baby is loaded, power everything with heated leather. Even radio control on the back steering wheel. Did the lift, adjustable trac bar myself. I'm 67. Did the math, measurements. Never had to align it.4.0 will run 80-90 mph all day long. After 15,000 miles since I lifted NO Cooper AT3 tire wear. New drag links/tie rod ends. Select-trac transfer case.

    How is all of this holding up... EVERYWHERE you read every one speaks poorly of rc. I take it at the surface... Im not going out to crazy offroad, i would like some clearance to try some overlanding type atuff. Im looking at the same rc n3s but cant get past some of the reviews, likely from guys with 6 in supension mods but whats a year into this look like for wear and tear? Any concerns??

      I don’t have it anymore but I’ve used RC many times. Is it less expensive? Yes. But it’s the quality you get for what you’re paying for and it’s a great place to start for most! My friend owns it now and I actually shipped it to Kauai for him. He loves it and it’s holding up great.

      @@PSFGaragethanks for getting back. I did end up going with this lift. The ride is smooth... My 2014 Tacoma needed new suspension pretty well around which is why opted for the kit to get something new out of it. I am so far very happy it. Did you get an alignment following installation?

    You make the install so easy lol different case for me. I couldn't get that UCA bolt out even after bending the shit out of the inner fender. They literally made it so you can't take out the UCA bolt out. No joke i bent the shit out of the inner Fender and still couldn't get it out

      Yeah, those are a pain in the neck! Takes a little bit of prying and wiggling to make it happen. Did you end up getting it done??

    • @BlueSTI
      @BlueSTI 3 месяца назад

      @PSFGarage yes got it done had to shave down the washer on the uca bolt flat so I could slid it through. Made it easy that way. Really like the RC kit. For the money it's a killer deal. People talk crap about RC lifts but I'm happy with mine.
